I feel your pain with the Audi TT clutch pedal! I hate doing them! I had a golf clutch master to do the other day, hottest day of the year and I’m laying upside down in a footwell! You know the one that is just a push and twist to fit it? Easy 15 minutes? No chance! The white pedal clip wouldn’t go back in (2 piece) and the torque reduction spring came out! GRRRR! Had to take the whole pedal out and refit the spring and master ball joint with clip using the vice. Took 3 times longer! Nevermind. I used to re-weld those pedals when that flap broke off, saved taking the pedals out like you did there. Obviously only good if you have a welder there and a leather mat to stop any weld burns to the interior. Far easier than what you had to do though - my patience is like yours with those jobs, very short! Keep up the good work! Phone will ring - early august always quiet. - It would help if you knew in advance it would definately be quiet on a certain week so you could book holidays but it is never the same the next year! 👍🏼

Rear battery has to be AGM Only jump the front, as you are--- some say non-AGM and rear jump can cause the fire.

Let me tell you they buy the cheapest oil in 20L bottle Drivetec 5w30 and the cheapest filters possible and they used it in all cars . Proper proper donkeys . Same thing happened to me , how come you charge 140-160£ for an oil change , when his car was a 4.5v8 that took 8.2L of oil plus I never used cheap Oil and fuel filters , and his reply was my other mechanic can do it for 50£ but he is to busy . No point in arguing with them as they just need an oil change doesn’t matter if the engine fails in less than 1 months “it’s been serviced “ . 😊

As a mobile mechanic my self. Your prices are about the same as mine. I had a job come to me due to being too cheap & wrong grade of oil.. Caused them other issues & cost them a small fortune to put right..

Im glad the guy who does my car mot's is 100% honest and tells me what work if anything needs to be done regardless if it fails or passes. Maybe you could say you do a full service. Main dealers say a mini or full service and there's a huge difference between them. I would inform customers what it is, your Kirby service entails.

Guaranteed the spanner monkey that’s undercut you is strictly cash in hand off the books and will use the cheapest of cheap products and if the customer isn’t clued up quick wipe down of the filter with some wd40 not even bother dropping oil and just lie under car for 20 mins
