Thank You Old School for 104 years of service! This abandoned elementary school in Connecticut was built in 1904 and closed in 2008. I've been trying to explore this one all year and someone finally left the door open for me. The building seems to call out to explorers and if the front entrance could talk it would say, "Feed Me Some Urban Explorers." There are five floors to explore total. The basement was flooded with an inch of water and my feet were soaked but it was worth it for the basement kitchen and piano down there, excellent wallpaper as well.
There's books and worksheets here and there, desks and chairs everywhere. (I'm a Poet and I didn't even realize it LOL.) I know, it's know it...
A human skeleton laying on a desk and a bat on the wall in a bathroom - well, paper ones anyway.
The attic space was very dark but you could see the really nice wood beam construction. They built these buildings sturdy back then. Quite a few classrooms to look at with blackboards and a couple office rooms. Lots of maintenance stuff in the basement as well.
Hope you enjoy this rather long video. I really didn't edit anything out so you're going to view this just as I explored it. It was fun. Please subscribe. Take Care...
