Abandoned O'Charley's Restaurant & Bar - Simpsonville, SC. What a nice building for a place that closed up. It would appear that the chain is struggling as I've seen a couple and heard of more O'Charley's closing. Also, I didn't know that this chain is as big as it is. Shame to see gone. Building looks to be in great shape for a new tenant to move in!

There is also a closed O'Charleys not far away in Greenwood SC. Along with a closed Ruby Tuesday, JCPenney, McAllisters Deli and a vacant Lidl grocery store all fairly close together.

I agree, the Dr.pepper shake from Whataburger is great. We have several whataburgers and a Buc-ees here in Alabama

Love South Carolina- spent a summer in Hilton head one year- was prrrty cool.. fishing was super good and a couple skate parks around pretty decent and barely any one skating em had em all to the head lol

The O'charleys down here in Summerville is still open last I saw it. My folks actually just ate there a few months ago. I was just never personally that big on them as far as restaurants on that tier go. Anyway love the video.👍

as far as i can tell the whole chain isnt gone. there are just 62 locations left in the us. they had 213 in 2016 and then 201 in 2018 and in 2024 they have 62 locations. company isnt going under no mention of bankruptcy. maybe they wanted to consolidate or close under preforming locations .

The one. In lexington south carolina Had a fire and it's abandoned for probably a good 8 or 9 months, but the sign stated temporarily closed.They have since closed it.They tore it down and they building out back steakhouse in that location

My local O' Charley's closed down a year ago probably within a week of ordering takeout. This past Labor Day, hit the one in Stockbridge, GA. Even though it was close to 2pm, business seemed slow for a holiday. They will likely be shuttered within the year.

They are pretty good. It’s similar to Applebee’s or TGI Friday’s.There is one up by Milcreek Mall in Erie (across the way next to Cheddar’s).

I Googled O'Charley's. They closed some of their locations in an effort to increase cash flow. As of April 2024, they still have open locations in Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Wallie… check out the warehouse at Vaughns in downtown Simpsonville. It’s an awesome food court style group of several restaurants that share the same space. Also, the update pinball arcade museum is in the building!!!

Wallie... Guess what? You raved on and on about Whataburger in Mauidin (which is the best in SC so far) while exploring O' Charley's in Simpsonville. What you didn't know according to the store manger at the Mauldin Road location next year this O'Charley's location is slated to become a Whataburger!!! Not sure if they will repurpose this building (which would make it a rather large WAB) or raze it and build new. Glad you finally got your Dr. Pepper Shake. Think I'll go have Whataburger now.... Thanks!!! :)
