Abandoned Polish Antonov AN-2 aircraft - 1/48 Hobbyboss 

I don’t watch your builds as tutorials even though I learn things from them. I watch mainly for two reasons- I am old and my eyes and hands won’t let me model any more, so in a sense I live vicariously through you and a few other RU-vid modelers. I appreciate the oddball subjects that never used to get any love but are becoming more popular with RU-vid modelers- I can only watch so many panzer builds, you know? You have been consistent in advancing your skills and challenging conventions in modeling subjects. It doesn’t matter so much that you don’t post on a consistent schedule, what matters to me is that when you do post a video, you present what you love doing.

I also returned to gluing models after a 20-year break. So far I have made a Crommwel tank from Tamiya 1/35, and now I have a Mi-24 1/72. Something that gives you fun, even when there is no electricity in the socket - an advantage over a computer.

I was fortunate? Enough to fly in a AN2 in Poland just over a year after the wall came down. As a cough serviceable cough aircraft it did not look much better than your model. Excellent work

AN-2 was flying over my head thrououut all my childhood. We have a small airfield 30 min walk from my home in the city where i grew up.

Hi. Normally I use oils and enamels for weathering and no need to seal them. I seal the paint before decals and then decals if I use any. I I think weatheing pencils could be activated again with water so maybe its good to spray another layer of varnish. I didn't.

By the way have seen the F-4 phantom video just wondering what the general opinion is?

I would love to build more 1/32 scale kits but I don't even have a room for bigger 1/48 models that i have and want to buid (like hawkeye with wings unfolded) I am currently working on 1/48 Skywarrior and I have no idea where im gonna store it. Also recording videos with such a big model is not very comfy to be honest . for now, im oing to finish skywarrior, build a few smaller jets this year I think and 1/700 aircraft carrier (that is not small but not wide as large scale aircraft and will fit my display cabinet easily) The phantom is okay kit I would say, it's defiantelly not as good compared to some newer kitsbut not terrible at all.@@FA-18Fguy

Not really. there is plenty of photos online of abandoned AN-2 in really bad state but canvas is still intact
