man I know steve will never see this but I've been watching him since he was doing cold weather hot tent camping while going to trade school. I am so bummed that he has to go through this loss and just figure out how to navigate life while under the scrutiny of the public. I hope he keeps doing what he's doing and I hope he knows that a whole bunch of perfect strangers are rooting for him

I was thinking about who my "crazy neighbor" friend is in my friend group and I was thinking I don't have one. Then came to the realization, I am crazy neighbor in my friend group. Also, the talent people have with a spray can is truly awesome.

I love the vibe of this video, it starts out all sensible talking about contingencies for bears and earthquakes, cooking in one location and sleeping in another, putting down boards to cover tripping hazards etc. Then the booze comes out and it becomes a proper boys night. Shenanigans ensued, suddenly there's a big fire in the middle of the room and they move the sleeping bags and food there instead, because fires are awesome! Sure it wasn't as stealthy but it looked like a lot of fun was had.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, for someone like myself who can't currently get out much due to health problems, it sure is refreshing to be able to join you on your adventures! You have such a positive attitude and great sense of humor and the fact that you are almost always smiling no matter what just puts me in a happier mood and makes me feel so privileged to be able to join you. Thank you, thank you, thank you and I'll always be here as a fan and a friend from afar!

The graffiti in that place is BEAUTIFUL. I love stumbling into impromptu art galleries like that, real artists out there practicing their craft.

This may be my favorite Steve Wallis video of all time. I make documentaries on dead malls and abandoned structures, so the whole "Steve and Crazy Neighbor do Urbex" thing sings to me. Cheers, Steve.

A rough week, made better by knowing Steve is doing okay and back doing crazy stuff that looks like a heck of a lot of fun.

Plant technician here; if it's an abandoned power plant, it's absolutely to code for earthquakes, even if old.. They anchor these things deep and ironwork the roof until you could hoist a mountain off of it. I'd rather be in there than anywhere in a quake.

Exploring an abandoned building and checking out the footings, wooden beam repairs, and old light sockets and being genuinely interested in them is why you have one of my favorite channels. So happy to see you out again Steve, love you guys.

Have to say this was a wild ride. Steve, in the company of trusty Crazy Neighbour, going where few would tread. From the start, it had a natural rhythm going. Mix in some quirk, discovery and spontaneity. Add alcohol and you get some truly cinematic moments at the old abandoned power plant.

Great to see you exploring the old power plant. A friend of mine retired from there about sixty years ago after spending most of his working career as an engineer at that location. And the dry land sort across from the beach campsite was my grandfather's gold claim in the 30s. Your journeys always spark some memories. Keep up the good work.

Crazy Neighbour is hesitant to let himself get into the whole experience, but when he finds that old porcelain wire thing, he really clears any confusion for the viewer whether he likes it or not, really great to watch.

I lost my dad a couple years ago, and have thought about him every day for the last four years.
