In this adventure I explore and document the abandoned history of Balgavies Castle hidden and forgotten in the wild landscape of Scotland. This was originally a Medieval castle surrounded by a moat and it was razed to the foundation by James VI during his journey to the North after the defeat of Argyll in 1593.

I was peeking over your shoulder at the scenes surrounding the castle. The hills and outcrops are very noticeable this time of year

I was thinking the underground room could have been the cold storage room for the castle kitchen, if the square could be the well 🤔❤️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
