Just beautiful. It stinks that developers are ruining great property for condos. I would love having this place. Even stuck in the 70’s. Better then the cheap stuff built now. That kitchen was huge. Even the driveway was first class. Along with the pool, gazebo etc. I’m glad you didn’t run into anybody Brent. Stay safe
Totally agree. Those solid kitchen cabinets are plain but the ones nowadays are wood veneer. Garbage. Loved the fireplace, too. Great Find Brent.🤜🏻🤛🏻🙌🏻
@@CatsCoffeeCrime My place was built in the 50’s. Like you said, solid wood. Updating that place would be a dream. The footprint is great. Such a waste.
Such a shame that they’re tearing this down. That place is gorgeous. For anyone that likes to strip houses, the amount of maple/hickory hard woods is astounding. Those French door sets are worth a lot!! This is a gem of amazing quality. Such a shame.
I love houses like this that are hidden in the trees, it's so much more private than most places nowadays. It breaks my heart to think they're going to demolish it and cut down the trees to build vertical ice cube trays.
Now just think about how many times the trees have likely been cut down in this same area since our European ancestors "settled" in? Three, four maybe five times already.
My gosh this is my type of home. 70s with a mid century modern feel. So open and airy. Id so totally fix this up to live. Darn developers. Great explore Brent.
Nice Place!, Late 50's built House remodeled in the 70's, I could tell by the Radio/Intercom, It's a 50's Tube unit, Pulled one just like it out of a house here., Great Video Brent!
Stuck in the 1970's love it. This time period was the change that was needed to modernize the world. I love the real old fairy tale castles but this home was alive and rocking and rolling at one time.
That house did have a Brady Bunch look. The house design looks more like the 60s with upgrades. Lots of wall paneling. The whole place is still in pretty good shape You missed opening the fridge..phew! Great find like always ..take care 🇨🇦❤️
Awesome explore! The radio in the kitchen is also an intercom to other parts of the house. The wall unit could be seen in the "bullet" room. The remote wall units could play the radio or could be used to talk to others in the house. The radio station could only be set on the kitchen unit but you could turn off the speaker in a remote wall unit if you didn't want to hear it.
@@alanmerritt860 shoot, something like that, you do it like you eat an elephant, one bite at a time!! Lol! Major stuff first, leaks and mold, then everything else in order of priority, meaning, I don’t care if my toilet is pink, as long as it works!!
What a beautiful place..I'd totally live there if it was offered..just amazing what people leave behind..thank you for another great explore..stay safe until the next time
Wow ! Love this place ! If I had the choice between a condo or a place like this with all these settings outside ? I would choose this place in a heart beat ! Thanks for showing us this amazing place before it's gone forever ! Such a shame 😔
this is one of the most livable mansions I have ever seen! the woods used are so beautiful, and it is laid out so beautifully. thank you for showing us this. it is , indeed , a waste of so much to demolish this home. , but it was a beauty to see.
Another AWESOME RETRO explore that makes me wanna turn back time, but that's a waste of time even thinking such, but the heart yearns for what the head can't really achieve :) ThankU yet again :) Trace/Eastern Canada (NB)
Another great find Brent. What a shame that they're going to tear it down. With some TLC & keep the 70s vide it would be a great place to host some parties themed around that decade. Thanks for sharing
Got to love the houses from the 70's!! 🤩 The angles in the design, the windows, the stonework and the thoughtful planning of kitchen, laundryroom and storage. Not an IKEA wardrobe in sight!! The colours, I'm not a fan of but the buildings! 🥰
Another epic find and explore, Brent! You have such a knack for this type of exploration and videography!! Well done! Looking forward to the next adventure already! A beautiful place!!
Yes Brent, squatters, the homeowner wouldn't have built that cheesy lookin fireplace on the patio. 19:17 I don't belive someone fell on the stairs though, likely something heavy was dropped. One of the nicer places you you've explored. (except for the caboose) Thanks! 👍👍👍
Beautiful house! I loved the french doors inside along with the marble counter tops. The pool and gazebo were amazing too! What a great find! So sad they’re tearing it down.
I have watched every video @onedUrbexCanada has made and enjoyed each one, but it's starting to feel like Canada is going to become a giant condo complex if developers have their way.
Wow….what a beautiful house …I imagine myself spending 3 or 4 weeks cleaning this house, doing the gardening, and making it my home lol…wishful thinking 😅😅…it’s just so sad it will soon be flattened and gone forever….I mean it’s almost in perfect condition!!! ….
A real beauty Brent. 😍 love it. So much wood. This place I bet was epic when they were there. Man, what a waste. I think it can still be lived in. Screw the developers. Pretty awesome Brent. You stay safe.
I think the sink between the washer and dryer is fantastic and unique what a great idea… What a giant gorgeous house and what a waste! I was born in 1960 and the people I knew that had those intercoms, really never used them and I think they wore out real quick or something or and too expensive to fix definitely a 70s trait!
I don’t even need the rest of the video to let you know I’m gonna love 🥰 till the end...I still love to watch you guys, You always make it more interesting, you look for the personal family stuff,!but don’t share it altogether ..Anyway you’re the best as Always!!!, Looks like another great video to come next... can’t wait 😊❤️❤️🙏🙏🌷🇬🇧🦊🐾✝️✊👍
Also love the 70’s houses, plenty of room to relax and not all black and white like the modern ones today. Thanks Brent for taking us along and showing us!✌️🙏
Another great video Brent. I always look forward in to seeing your videos. It always makes you wonder why the people up and left and left most or all of their belongings behind.
I just want to say that I love your videos because you go throughout the house or building with your video and not have to stop and touch and talk about everything. I mean I can see...others have to say "oh..look at this beautiful mirror" or "wow look at this wood" or look at this books and spend so much time on all this stuff and all I want to see is inside this building and everyone...so koodles to you and I will definitely keep watching your show...please don't change. :)
Amazing explore. Thank you for sharing. That was reloading equipment in the one room. I used to watch my uncles reload ammo. Sad to see these places go. All that wood!
Wow amazing houses please don't go alone night time please 🙏 I really is lovely places you never know exactly what happened in there god bless you always sweetie from Houston Texas
Yes, that is a very tiny reloading station so this person was a shooter. In 2014 I set the women's national NRA record in F Class 600 yard competition (Andy is my nickname) and held it for about 5 years. I'm too old now but it sure was fun. Interesting video.
Thanks🤗 for taking us on another adventure🔎. I really like 😊the doors🚪 with the glass panels. Have you ever done any exploring in London Ontario. Did you get to explore The Cedar House 🏤in London Ontario before vandals set it on fire? It was situated on property across The Thames River facing Springbank Park in West London. There are a few RU-vid videos about this house.
Love this house. Love those intercom systems, we had one in our house when i was a kid. Brent love you channel, you take us to some very interesting and beautiful places. Thank you.
LOVE this house, oh my gosh the windows, style, kitchen, bar....super awesome house I'd love to have & restore, Great find!! Love, hugs & God Bless you 💕💕
Would love to go with you to these places....savage some items, wood doors and other items, copper, brass and especially wrought iron gates and fences....wow
Wooow what a great find 👏🏻 very interesting retro house, like retro stuff, like retro kitchen the whole house is awesome Bravoooo for another perfect exploring 👏🏻👏🏻👍🏻you are a GENIUS my favourite explorer No.1 on the 🌏 Big greetings and kiss for you from Serbia 🇷🇸❤ be careful and take care 🇨🇦❤😁
Thank you for a great video, beautiful house and property!! It's sad it's to be torn down,it might have been of use for a big family,or an inn? Had a kind of lonesome feeling,I guess coming from NYC,I'd have a hard time getting used to the solitude! Love those french doors, and pretty music at the end, great find thanks brent
I'm normally a "big old Victorian 3 story farmhouse" kinda girl.....BUT, I graduated from High School & left for college in 1970!!! This house is / was SO COOL!! It looks like a little TLC and could be restored to it's original beauty!!! That lovely yard looks like it's been totally neglected for years!!! SO SAD!! I love the fact it's up a big long lane in some trees. But I wouldn't want brand new condos for neighbors!! Thanks Brent, for another Great find!! PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!! I worry about you exploring alone!!!❤
Thanks for sharing Really enjoyed it really nice place at one time it’s too bad you’re going to crash it down and we should be nice to salvage some of the doors are beautiful woodwork my father was a woodworker carpenter before he passed away he was such a crafty woodworker he built all kinds of things windows doors and built a whole day the nearest three China cabinets and bedroom suite out of Ponderosa pine We still have some of it once again thanks for sharing
It's a shame that they are going to demolish the house, but also tear down the woodlands as well for apartments. Makes you wonder why a successful man would walk away from his home leaving so much of his belongings behind, but he didn't leave anything personal, so I guess you were right taking the money and run, especially from a developer big money. Great video. Love from NY.
