That's Diner 254! Omg! Yes I've been there! It's a 1960's Retro eatery that's was opened around 2010. Great clasic burgers, milk shakes, breakfast pancakes, you name it, they had it on the menu. Damn, i miss this place!

I used to live and work nearby. I had a few meals there and it was a cute place! I'm glad it wasn't torn down, but sad to see it empty. The 2008 recession really hit the area hard and so many places went out of business shortly after.

when you pressed the ring button i heard a door bell sound it actually worked i had to rewatch the video and thats amazing this diner is amazing imagine people doing car shows at this diner before it gets replaced

Did a bit of research, this was built as a 5 & Diner restaurant. This was the only 5 & Diner restaurant in Ohio. This was later Sammy's Diner, and Diner 254, and (I guess) was then used as the used car dealership. It honestly isn't overly visible from the main road (SR 254). Might have done better if it had a bigger sign, or something nearer to the road.

I got to eat there a few times when it was Sammy’s and Diner 254. It is such a cute place. The Quaker Steak next door is closing at the end of April 2024, maybe a spot for a future video? My 8 year old son loves your videos and got so excited to see you in a spot he recognized!

The Montrose Kia dealership next door is the ones who own the property now. They use it as a storage lot for overflow on vehicles.

Awesome video! I can tell you that this was a former 5 & diner since we used to have a few of those in az, the inside & outside pretty much has the same look, the signs & the neons as well!

The neon tubes must be wired in series. I bet if that one broken tube was replaced the rest would come back to life.

The building looks real similar to a silver diner. And you think a diner gone used car lot is odd, We had a Golden Corral turn into a funeral home.

There's a diner like that downtown where I live that still functions as an actual diner, and like a few other places, I've been meaning to go eat there again for quite awhile now. This looks like it was a cool place as both the car lot and the diner.

Honestly, I live a 5 minute drive from there in South Lorain, and I go past there all the time as that's how I access Route 2 / I-90, and I see everything else, the dealerships, the UH medical building, Quaker Steak, etc... but I never really have seen that building, or, it looks familiar, so I've seen it, but I never looked that closely. I don't know what was in there, and I didn't know it was 'converted' to a dealership. Looks like the just changed the sign and dragged in a desk and left the original restaurant in place (smart move).

The old Kmart up in sellingsgrove pa sunbury pa became a Nissan car dealership

It's looks like a former Schoops Hamburgers. They are still around in some parts of northern Indiana.

I got Ford Focus from the Ford dealership. Had nothing but problems with the transmission clutch slipping 3 times under 50k miles and they fixed it twice under warranty. 3rd time they basically said nothing was wrong even though the car shutters on acceleration

I love the beautiful aesthetics of the diner/car dealership! I really love to eat at diners! I especially like hot turkey sandwiches and hot meatloaf sandwiches both with mash potatoes and gravy. Wallie, here in Weirton, WV on Three Springs Drive, there has been construction of a Primanti Brothers restaurant. I just found out yesterday that Primanti Brothers is having a grand opening on Thursday November 2nd, and the the grand opening is the exact same grand opening that they had at the Primanti Brothers near where you live. Are you going to be able to make it to this grand opening of Primanti Brothers? It's on Thursday November 2nd. I'm going to be there. I work steady night turn shift at my job and I can just walk to Primanti Brothers when I get done with work. It's on my way home from work, as I walk to and from work every night and morning. I hope to see you there. I just found out about the grand opening yesterday. The grand opening starts at 5am. I just realized that when I first posted this comment, that I forgot to mention the time the grand opening starts.
