Howdy mate and good afternoon! If your libraries have access to public records, you can find out a lot about a location by researching these records. This is how I found out about the lands' history and the contents of the Meeting with Wal-Mart. Don really seemed like a good guy and left a massive legacy in Southern Colorado. That's because he isn't correct. He is showing a different house, claiming it was part of a ski area. This was recently posted on a Woodland Park community page on Facebook, and the locals are having a fit about the inaccuracies. He's in the wrong area. This is the Junction House, was never a part of a ski area.
Don't know where you've been but WELCOME BACK. Wow, this is wonderful info and the old videos are priceless. When i skiied Pikes Peak there was plenty of deep, natural snow. I want to wring Walmarts neck for not keeping their word. Without you, I would've never known about this ski area.

That's because it's not true. He is showing the Junction House. It was never part of a ski area. The ski area was on Edlow road. This is not the correct area.
We are not better off with the Walmart. People that chose to live up here new that they would need to drive down the pass for Wal-Mart shopping. The people didn't want the Wal-Mart. We still don't!!! Only the city people want it. That's what has ruined woodland park!!
