Union Level is quite an amazing little piece of history. Located in Virginia, it sits not far from the North Carolina line. Feels like the middle of nowhere, because it kinda is. Abandoned and by many called a Ghost Town, the only thing you can hear is nature and some semi trucks moving along the road. This place once had general stores, barber shops, a bank, motorcycle dealer, pharmacy, and a railroad depot. Unfortunately with the changing times of travel, growing of surrounding areas, and the Great Depression, most of this came to an end by the late 1920's. Many moved to a nearby area called South Hills, VA. Whats left is only a small reminder of what used to be. Population has steadily declined, currently it's at around 67 people within the area, and will certainly continue to become less as times goes by. Let's take a quick look and see what it looks like!
