For everyone in these comments who misses Toys R’ Us, you’re not the only ones. There are others. There’s even Macy’s stores with a Toys R’ Us’ section, so they haven’t died out completely, but for Toys R’ Us, a moment of silence.
I don't know if my childhood will come back.. I searched everywhere for toys r us But I found 3 locations but it's out of business 😭 I really cried and I wasted my own time when I found toys r us I hope toys r us comes back 🙏😢
@@BraydenCunningham-ut7ggyes it is google I searched up and I quote “The Toys “R” Us comeback began in 2021 after WHP Global purchased the company and opened a new 20,000-square-foot store in New Jersey and 452 shops inside Macy's stores in 2022.Oct 5, 2023”
For those who don’t know: Toys R Us was a popular toy store in the 90s up to the 2000s until 340 stores shut down due to bankruptcy in 2018 and in 2018 the store was becoming less popular as kids played video games. But there is a Toys R Us in Macy’s.
@@AbandonedRUs Fuck walmart for killing Toys “R” Us. I will continue to shop at walmart, but not as much as Target, which had the good shit. (Beyblades before Hasbro went to shit) Glad Toys “R” Us is coming back.
omg, someone said that :( sears was the best aswell they had so many nice things, reminds me of when i was a kid and go there all the time with my parents 😢.
I actually been to the Layton Toys R Us along with the Salt Lake City Toys R Us on State Street before they went out of business. It was honestly a big journey traveling to those stores. Sad that they no longer there anymore.
Toys “R” Us was my childhood 😭 I used to go there all the time in 2013-2018, the store gave me a lot of memories, sad it’s gone 😭 Well, we have Amazon, but it’s not the same…
i have the same story, it’s personally really sad because my cousins gave me and my older sister a 100 dollar gift card, that we didn’t get to use yet. and also we didn’t grow up comfortable so that was awesome seeing toys everywhere but now it’s faded away..
I know this might be cruel to say but I'm glad that building didn't stay empty too long like so many other buildings that have stayed empty to the point of needing to be demolished to the ground cause they have rotted so bad beyond repair so iam glad that building is getting used..
That’s one of the saddest ones. We used to go there and buy all the Christmas and birthday gifts from there because at the time all the family kids were young. Now they are all older..
There used to be at Toys “R” Us near my house. It’s closed because of bankruptcy and was replaced by a big lots. I look at that big lots every day when we go by with rage and hatred in my eyes.
@@One_Is_Better_Than_Four hello because that’s literally my childhood and because that’s where we got all of our toys that we have today. I still have so many of them today and my mom cries every time she sees them.
My eyes are just cosplaying as a popular character called tears. But fr tho, you don’t appreciate something until it’s gone. Speaking from experience here. Lost my aunt back in 2019.
I'm so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so so sorry for your loss😭
As a kid I never understood what It meant for something to be gone and now that I'm older it's sad to think that I will never be able to feel every child's dream of going to a place of dreams and imagination. In the end I would like to say good bye Toy's,R,us and thank you for having us.
Your so sweet❤ but may toys r us rest in peace 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
Bro the toys r us i grew up with when it closed i was just crying for days while I was slowly watching the logo fade away * its faded all out now * 😭😭😭
For everyone who don’t know why it closed: Toys R us had to close because LOTS of people preferred groceries and food more than just wasting money on just Toys R us protesting them to close Toys R us to close forever and just a toy section in grocery stores meaning that Toys R us realize that it was a huge mistake and was filed for bankruptcy meaning it was %100 forced to shut down and go out of business for good
I never get to go there because I live in Britain, and Britain dont have places like this.... It's such a shame big places have Toyrus I mean, our toy store is only like from Russia, the food sometime are from from Tesco, why didn't The US get Tesco?
2010 Toys R Us: ah what a beautiful day! 2017 Toys R Us: uh I don’t see any customers… 2019 Toys R Us: welp… 2022 to now Burlington: so why am I here again?
Near my old home there used to be a Toys R Us store that I used to go to a few times. But like the other TRU stores, it closed down. Now its a kitchen furniture store.
As a person who lives near Layton, I can, unfortunately, confirm this to be true. I legit don't even know how much money I spent there as a child. This bring back memories.
