Abandoned UK Nightclub - Truths/The Shed, Bournemouth 

Perfect timing Matey!

Wow, what a mess now. I used to clean the windows there on Friday mid to late mornings every week. The chef would be doing his preparations and ordering/taking deliveries and used to make us a breakfast that we would eat on the semi-open top floor. There was a Pizza restaurant next door at ground level. I want to say it was called family run place with great atmosphere that had been there forever. We would clean the windows there and have coffee coz it was a real awesome flavoured proper Italian brew. I grew up in Poole and Bournemouth. Lived mainly overseas since 1984 but often returned and always did the window cleaning if I was in UK for a few months. Specialised in shops, bars and restaurants mostly in Central Bournemouth, Old Christchurch Road area. Heartbreaking to see the slow deterioration. Central Bournemouth was a fantastic thriving place in the 1980's that is starting to look very run-down in recent years ( last visit 2019). The destruction inside the nightclub so sad to see. I forget the names of the owners when it was opened. It did OK but was one of the B grade nightclubs of the time. The management and staff looked after us though, I hope they are all ok.
