Abandoned Warwick Hotel Blackpool (2016)

This is a very old video that I found in the depths of my laptop... This was from an explore in 2016 at the Warwick hotel in Blackpool, the hotel has now been demolished to make new apartments in that area, the explore was really fun although it was a nerve racking explore to say the least!

I was chef in a nearby hotel during the 80s, we would lend each other stuff like a sack of potatoes or a few dozen eggs if stock was running low. There was a decent pool table which used to attract workers from nearby hotels during evenings for a couple of pints on the way home. My kids learned to swim there when they were young, they are in their mid 30's now, it was a really nice place when it was open.

Been to blackpool twice in my life... stayed here twice! Last time was 2014! It was a fine hotel in its day I assure ya.. Cant believe it's like this now! Was wondering how it was getting on so thought I'd give it a search and was amazed when I found this ! This is indeed the Warwick hotel, the swimming pool used to be proper warm and it had a nice wee bar and lounge area. Not the biggest fan of Blackpool and probably wont be back there for a long time but it's sad to see this wont be here when I return. Great video mate.

This is so cool, I stayed there every Summer as a kid in the 90s. I learnt to swim in that pool too! Sweeet.

I stayed here as a kid, probably late 90s. I remember a huge (to me) tv near the bar area, and the managers son was always trying to befriend me and my brother. He tried to wake us up one day outside the hotel room with his digital watch music!
