I always enjoy watching you guys unearthing more artifacts from the battlefields and other sites in Europe. Finding those unbroken green and red badges and the wide variety of other artifacts makes me wish I was there and helping find more long lost items in the forests. I can't wait for your next video and please take care of yourself.

Bicycles were especially common toward the end of the war when car parts were in short supply. Mainly used by the Hitler youth and the german senior citizens pressed into service. Good find

I’ve watched a few of your videos. I had many family members in the Wehrmacht. My comment is one about your technique. It looks like you are bouncing around from one spot to another. Have you given any thought of laying out a grid and then systematically go through the whole area? I believe the areas that you decide to pass up may just yield some historical debris. My challenge to you to proof my point is the next time you go out continue doing the excavating the same way but save the last hour to go back to a section that you passed up and see what you retrieve and post it. I believe that this experiment will prove that if you use a grid and systematic approach to your archaeology that you will come out with even more finds and content. Also, taking pictures with metering devices in situ has value if/when you decide to share your ‘hobby’ with professionals. It will make your presentation look upscale and sharing the history (like you do) will show real people lived and died through this world wide war. Using archaeological techniques will give you gravitas to some land owners who otherwise would withhold their permission to dig. I won’t go on and on.
