Also of note the reason McDonalds built a new restraunt and sold the old one was due to its age and upkeep. But at least Bob's intoned Spas hasn't overly modified the outside. Not sure what the inside looks lime. The original floor and counters may be in there. But I don't know foe sure.
There is a abandoned Burger King in my city of St Paul Minnesota. It has been abandoned for years now. The logos are all there, the drive thru stuff is there, the building and colors are there but worn down now. It is in a lucrative spot to right off a busy street into the city. Hella weird.
It's sad seeing a Wendy's that was not turned into a shoebox shape. There is still a vintage Wendy's in York located on W 11th Ave. Right off Rte 30 and close to Action Church. Also right on that corner sits Bob's intowne Spas that is in a vintage McDonalds still with the classic slanted vintage roof. McDonalds built a new one near it as you will see I'd you go there.
Yes I am very well familiar with that area. Pass by there almost every weekend and I have eaten at the Wendys and McDonalds plenty of times. Also did you see they demolished the vintage Pizza Hut/Taco Bell combo on White Street in West York? They are building a new one just like they did with the one in North York except they relocated.
@JeremysRetailExploration No I didn't notice that. But I only ever get to West York if I'm heading to the York Fair Grounds or Essex Pretzels along 30. I live in Hellam Township and I'm sure your familer to where that is.
@@SchardtCinematic I remember going to the Wendy's at Delco Plaza when they had the newspaper tables back in the 80's. They even had breakfast back then and it was pretty good. Haven't been out that way in a while but I think it's still a vintage location. Also close to both of you (Dallastown).
