how did this work for you? I am in the process of working on a 500l and dealing with the anti theft I have the key but the fob was broken off and missing. I am swapping the engine into a 1984 Ford Escort.
@@Fiatx192040 what was causing your key issue I see you pulled everything and still had an issue or was it because the cylinder wouldn't work with the factory x19 steering?
Well I suspect you are talking about the Fiat X1/9 1500 Engine and putting turbo charger on it. Compared to the Uno Turbo the Uno had different pistons, connecting rods and crank shaft. It also had oil jets that squirt at the bottom of the pistons to cool them. My Abarth engine is seeing 24PSI boost, the old Fiat engine would explode with that kind of boost. So you could mess around and turbo the old engine and wait for it to blow up, or you could mess around and put turbo charged engine that is made to run under high boost and enjoy it. TonyK.
