You need to calibrate axis especially if your going to replace a servo motor, doing change oil of the drive gear of every axis and when you are going to replaced the sevo PCB BOARD
You speak too much but really you don't know what is really is if you change the motor or if you have an external axis you have to do fine calibration but for the 6 servomotors from 1 to 6 of robot you have between the axe 2 and 3 calibration offset a map for every axe the resolvers values and in the door of the controller you find the same resolvers values so if you do a fine calibration you change the geometry of the robot I hope you understand my answer and Allah know better than the all
