No videos for months and then two come along together-this uses photos from my friend Joan Rusling again and shows York -a historic town in the UK. The video is dedicated to the memory of a great and sadly missed friend from the US Dallos Holm Sr,who along with another friend persuaded me to make as well as watch videos. He died in early March 2010 from cancer but his channel has been left up by the family and is now approaching 20 million views RIP my friend
York (local i/ˈjɔrk/) is a walled city, situated at the confluence of the Rivers Ouse and Foss in North Yorkshire, England. The city has a rich heritage and has provided the backdrop to major political events throughout much of its two millennia of existence. The city offers a wealth of historic attractions, of which York Minster is the most prominent, and a variety of cultural and sporting activities.
The city was founded by the Romans in 71 AD, under the name of Eboracum. It became in turn the capital of the Roman province of Britannia Inferior, and of the kingdoms of Northumbria and Jorvik. In the Middle Ages, York grew as a major wool trading centre and became the capital of the northern ecclesiastical province of the Church of England, a role it has retained.[4]
In the 19th century, York became a hub of the railway network and a confectionery manufacturing centre. In recent decades, the economy of York has moved from being dominated by its confectionery and railway-related industries to one that provides services. The University of York and health services have become major employers, whilst tourism has become an important element of the local economy.
From 1996, the term City of York describes a unitary authority area which includes rural areas beyond the old city boundaries. In 2001 the urban area had a population of 137,505,[5] while in 2010 the entire unitary authority had an estimated population of 202,400.[3]
Lyrics
Take it easy
with me, please
Touch me gently
like a summer evening breeze
Take your time,
make it slow
Andante, Andante
Just let the feeling grow
Make your fingers
soft and light
Let your body
be the velvet of the night
Touch my soul,
you know how
Andante, Andante
Go slowly with me now
I'm your music
(I am your music and I am your song)
I'm your song
(I am your music and I am your song)
Play me time and time again
and make me strong
(Play me again 'cause you're making me strong)
Make me sing,
make me sound
(You make me sing and you make me...)
Andante, Andante
Tread lightly on my ground
Andante, Andante
Oh please don't let me down
There's a shimmer
in your eyes
Like the feeling
of a thousand butterflies
Please don't talk,
go on, play
Andante, Andante
And let me float away
I'm your music
(I am your music and I am your song)
I'm your song
(I am your music and I am your song)
Play me time and time again
and make me strong
(Play me again 'cause you're making me strong)
Make me sing,
make me sound
(You make me sing and you make me...)
Andante, Andante
Tread lightly on my ground
Andante, Andante
Oh please don't let me down
Make me sing,
make me sound
(You make me sing and you make me...)
Andante, Andante
Tread lightly on my ground
Andante, Andante
Oh please don't let me down
Andante, Andante
Oh please don't let me down...
