Hard to imagine how much staying power this little ABBA number has enjoyed through the decades. I read that Benny and Bjorn were having trouble figuring out the start of the song and finally Benny just slid his hand down the keyboard of his piano and declared, "That's it."

ABBA is a very special group!!! Although this is one of their earlier most popular songs from the 70's; and even after 40 yrs of being away from the music scene, they've made a major comeback with a huge splash because many people have been starving for some real good music, lyrics & vocals with today's updated technology!!! I danced with many a girl to this song. I was around 15, I think. ABBA had many great dance songs. Brings back nice memories.

As a matter of fact, how about you do a reaction to ABBA, now that they have come back after a 40 year absence and are releasing a new album in November. It's really a guilty pleasure for me. I listen mostly to rock, progressive rock, hard rock and heavy metal. But indeed Dancing Queen is my favorite ABBA song since my childhood, LOL

Give "Knowing me knowing you" a listen. They were the supergroup of the 1970'S. A fun fact is that they were Swedish. And other than the words to the songs they recorded they couldn't speak English.

You're a great performer, haha. but i disagree with the video title. Dancing Queen (or all other Abba songs for that matter) is not a guilty pleasure, it is actually a very well written pop/dance song. I think they where in someway the Seventies answers to the Beatles (Both had a huge scala of timeless hits).

I'm a little confused as to what basis the people who made these suggestions considered these "Guilty pleasure" songs to be guilty pleasures. They are all very good songs. Including "Dancing queen". I would consider a "guilty pleasure" to be something like "Little ducky duddle" or "Old MacDonald had a farm" or "Conjunction junction". Or "Choo Choo Charlie was an engineer".
