i mean for atheists, they see people who believe in God as religious people who follow religion. I mean i do understand that there have been cases where some christians got to the point of killing some unbeliever for which purposes. Because these christians used the bible and god as religion and they've gone too religious and fanatic about it. I come from a latino pentecostal family but i go to church because i live with my parents until when I'm 18, IM OUT. but I'm not really a christian because if i were, i would've been a way more different person. just like most jews, most jews who come from family who are really religious, tend to come out not very religious about their believes and are just in the middle. same thing with me. I honestly don't even read the bible lol but i know a lot from it because i use to read it a lot when i was maybe a child? but i love and hear secular music. i mean, when I'm out in public and i hear songs that i freaking like, my feets wanna move now lmfao. but when i hear christian songs, i react to it differently like, i guess i can say Calm and in peace. i just like both, but i don't keep most things what i was taught. i sometimes feel like a hypocrite like this though. I'm always thinking to myself, "Karim(my name), are you really a christian? or your really not?" but I'm just i guess, in the middle. Not an an atheist, nor a very spiritual person i guess i can say? but yeah.

This has been common in rock lyrics forever. No one can deny this. However, beyond this: Stuff from the past that is...uncomfortable...now. For at least some people. Ringo singing at an advanced age, "You're 16, you're beautiful, and you're mine". 17 the age for this ABBA vid. The Beatles singing "Little Child". And there are loads more from the past. And all pretty innocent in terms of attitude for THOSE times, though anyone can take issue with that now. Seriously insane documented low age child prostitution in London and NYC from at least 1810 to 1880. You say, what does that have to do with this song? Not much really, but just some subtext for our current manic times. The golden age for pedophiles being 1830 to 1870. You wouldn't believe some of the descriptions. I've been fascinated studying mid 1800's city life for both London and NYC, someone wrote a really great book about NYC in the 1850's and I can't remember the title of it now to save my life. I worked at a hospital for a time. Fascinating conversation once with a nurse who gave birth at age 15. My eyes might have been popping out of my head a few times. I'm not trying to corrupt the mood of this song, one of the greatest pop songs of all time. As a pro musician and singer for 3 decades, I've always loved ABBA. Even did a few of their songs back in the day. Even read a fat biography of them, liked it.
