I totally agree. It was a superb record. The band cleverly never released this song as a single so we who loved it after watching the movie had to buy the album. Over 5000,000 copies were sold worldwide, making it a massive financial success for the band. Its best to listen to this track via headphones, or earphones, as the stereo effect and production are utterly superb ❤️✨🎧🎶
What a beautifully haunting song. So fabulously sung by Agnetha and Frida. It transports you to another place as you listen to it. This song is in a league of its own. ❤️👏
Perhaps the ABBA song where its the most difficult to seperate Agnetha and Frida's voices and one they both loved to sing. Originally on this show they performed the edited single version and somehow sigued it into Thank You For The Music but this is nicely edited to play the complete song.
This is NOT the 'long version'. There's no such thing, that would imply it was extended for club play or a single, when the opposite was true, it was edited for a single and come compilations. Granted ABBA are not known for doing long songs, and often in the finishing off process, they cut them even further, annoyingly and unnecessarily, but this was always the only version we all knew from "The Album"-that's just how it is. After all, you don't go over to the single edit and title that "Eagle-edited version", which to my mind the person who uploaded it should.
