A big show of ABBA on Japanese television in 1978. This recording of “If It Wasn't For The Nights” features wonderful strings arrangements by Anders Eljas. Awesome bass performanse by Mike Watson. ABBA shared the stage (in playback) with Lasse Wellander (guitar), Rutger Gunnarsson (bass) and Ola Brunkert (drums)

Ah the seventies production on this track!. It's a joy to hear it!. One of the best ABBA album tracks, they don't get the credit for writing all these tracks that weren't hit singles...I played the crap out of these albums as a kid...good times!.

It’s very strange to watch this video knowing that the band behind ABBA is not between us anymore. Ola Brunkert (drums) was the first to passes away (2008), followed by Rutger Gunnarsson (bass) in 2015 and now Lasse Wellander (rhythm guitar), in 2023.

Frida steals this performance. She's not the greatest dancer, but her love for the music is obvious and infectious. See also the the boat shots in the Summer Night City video.
