Frida is gorgeous in this one. I think she would have made a great actress, especially James Bond movies. She just exudes that aura

In my humble opinion ... not only is Frida one of the most gorgeous female singers ever but also her singing voice the absolute best!

The ironic thing about this song was when it came out ABBA were top of the charts in so many countries. Here in the Uk they had had 3 Number 1's with their last 3 songs. This got to no.3, Then another triple of no.1's after this. As a result they were Swedens biggests export surpassing Volvo cars. As all their music was self penned they kept most of the royalties so were millonaries, despite Swedens high rates of tax.

I worked my arse off all my life to provide for my kids until I was forced into medical retirement when I was 57. Now I struggle even more because of the cost of living so you are so right Lee. My life is full of other riches. Great velvety vocals from Frida.

Hello , so nice to see you again reaction to ABBA singles in UK official charts "Money money money" (1976) it is a very good song in a different musical style, cabaret type, set in another era "Money money money" is the single that followed "Dancing Queen" and reached # 3 in the UK, #1 in Australia and several European countries. It is a totally different song from its predecessor "Dancing Queen" and also from its successor "Knowing me knowing you" This is the versatility of ABBA, they go from genre to genre, as well as from success to success The song lends itself very well to the brunette Frida's lower voice, the choruses are sharper in contrast (and very catchy) The instrumentation is excellent The official video is one of ABBA's best, very creative, it shows Them in fashion situations and also with their famous kimonos But a year ago ABBA premieres the new official lyric video of "Money money money" I hope to see you soon with next ABBA single it will be the heartbroken "Knowing me knowing you" My best regards to You from Buenos Aires Argentina 🇦🇷 South America

Fun fact, now Frida acually lives in Monaco, like she is singing about, and is rich. Well, she was rich back then when she sung that, ABBA was rich and still is.

As you progress through Abba's amazing catalogue of songs you'll certainly notice a lot of changes in sound and style. I know it won't be on the singles chart list you're going by but I really recommend you listen to their song The Visitors, when you get up to 1981. It's the title track off their final album and whilst it wasn't released as a single in the UK it was a single in other countries, including the US. I think it's one of Abba's best ever songs and shows a very different side to them that you'll have heard. It's a song about a political dissident in the Soviet Union living in fear of a knock on the door from the KGB (the Visitors in question). Yes, a different subject matter for Abba! The production, the instrumentation, everything about it is amazing, especially the eerie feel the song gives you, the build up and Frida's great lead vocals. There's no music video for it but here's a link to the audio.
