Yes...I absolutely love this version. I fell in love 🥰 this group when I was 11 years old after hearing “SOS” on American Band Stand. I bought the Record and played it constantly. It made my dad disgusted with my Musical choice back then, I memorized his Rock n Roll and Country as well. So now I listen to a whole genre of music. The English version was a hit in South America, a husband and wife : Buddy & Mary Mckluskey wrote the lyrics in Spanish, Buddy worked for ABBA’s record company RCA in Argentina, it was the record company who contacted ABBA and recommend a Spanish version, as They saw its potential. Buddy & Mary travelled to Stockholm to assist with the pronunciation and diction. The Spanish album the following year is beautiful, and was very popular in Japan, reaching No3 in some chart (may be foreign chart) and allegedly selling 80,000 copies (according to official Abba magazine.) Dear Dereck, "another singer" is Anni-Frid Lyngstad, shortly called Frida. Easy to remember. My favourite member of Abba, world-class lady, singing like an angel, stunning beauty. Spanish language fits well Abbas music. Because I'm Nordic , and we have tons of blonde girls here, for me Frida was exotic one of Abba. But anyway, she's very scandinavian, roots in Norway and Sweden. You like 80's music, so please react Frida's solo number Something's going on, it's dramatic performance, it goes rock with electric guitar and Phil Collins in drums, sound is more 80's than 80's itself!
