This could be your highest quality video to date and I learned a lot about the Abbasid. I especially love the extra historical info at the end. Players easily forget that these civs really did interact with each other in the past and now I know when and how, thanks, can't wait for the next one!!
What a masterclass of a video! Thank you so much for this quality content. I wasn't excpecting any posts in this channel, since your monetization was struck. Hope it cames back soon.
Amazing content Aon! The quality of this video is insane compared to all of your other videos. I didn’t really care for the historical aspect at the end but the summary was very good and definitely one of things that is missing on RU-vid. Keep up the good work!
So gald to see you back! Also that's one excellent guide for my favourite civ! Side-note a lot of common knowledge about the battle of Talas is Tang propaganda as their chroniclers really didn't want to admit their forces were hopelessly outflanked. Damn, I want to see this conflict as a campaign or at least an isoltaed historical battle like in AoE 3!
Great video! I really liked the last part with some historical context, tbh I wish it had been a little bit longer but ig that's not the point of your channel. Keep up the good work!
This is an absolutely fantastic video! Thanks so much for making it! Abbasid are my second favourite civ behind Ottomans. I love how versatile they are, and I really enjoy playing them in team games
@@wingedhorus1462 That's fine, you can skip the ads. :D One person skipping makes no difference at all. If you want to support further, you can technically "Join" as a member. You can click the Join button under the video, and of course it's completely optional. As mentioned though, don't bother watching the ads if you get ones that don't interest you. Just skip. :)
I'm really looking forward to it! The only thing I'm missing is more zoom out (you can always see it on the developers' screenshots), a guard button and a larger second gate for the walls so that the troops and siege machines don't always get caught up in them.
What was that music at the end?! I know I've heard it before, but the name escapes me atm. It's so familiar! 🤤Edit: Wait, was that a remixed version of Rasputin?!! 😮
Great video! But I would like to add that it is said that after the battle of Talas, which Karluk Turks fought side by side with Abbasids against the Tang influence, Turks started to convert to Islam in masses
What do you mean by no strong military bonus? Abbasid have the strongest military bonus. The camel armour buff and enemy calvary nerf, composite bow, bootcamp. Abbasid have the strongest 200/200 army in the game.
I'm referring to inherent bonuses that come for free with the civ. You can make an argument that the production bonus kicks in with the Golden Age after a while, but I'm saying that their inherent civ bonuses are very economy heavy ones.
Whats the awesome music in the background? It sounds so awesome ! could you pls link it? Edit: This is a song called Üsküdar'a Gider İken and is turkish. So ig the civ 6 team made a mistake by having it as an arabic theme?
@@AgeofNoob, I'm thinking if the people who made the music were inspired by her. I don't remember what music it was from her, but there is one that uses many of the same chords. Of course there is also the chance that both were inspired by some third source.
@@thomasfplm its a rhythm that emerged from peotry in the 10th century Spain and developed into a distinct tune , we call it mashriq scale of poetry. This scale emerged from the mixture of Arabic and Andalusian and hebrew culture.
@@AgeofNoob It is an Ottoman song called « üsküdara gideriken » which was arranged for Civ 6. Here’s one example ^^) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-YViv76D-V5o.html
I'm really really happy you're back, a really passionate video, it made me want to play the Abbasid in the next matches, Explained to perfection, with mastery, the historical part is really beautiful, it would be nice to have videos with historical kinematics on civilization, like small documentaries :D, your work is really full of commitment!! congratulations once again!!
Just a hint. With the red border on the thumbnail it looks in my feed like I already watched the video. Would recommend you to use a different color for the stroke!
Hopefully the algorithm makes these videos more visible, Awesome to see you back my man, seriously quality content and an extra 👍🏽 because its the Abbasids my favorite civ keep it up 💪🏾 Salam
That video had no right to be as good as it was, absolute top tier. If I had one critique, as somebody who is interested in the game but barely played it I thought the informations conveyed were a bit too fast and overwhelming. I can't wait to watch the other civs get covered though !
