The Abbey Quarter is located on the site of St Francis' Abbey and the former Smithwick's Brewery on the banks of the river Nore in Kilkenny, Ireland. In November 2018, the Government announced the first round of funding for the Urban Regeneration and Development Fund (URDF). Here's the story of one of the projects it part funds.
