Thank you, thank you, thank you, boys. Watched this on a cold English morning and so warmed my heart. As a Northern English guy of a similar age, who grew up with the Beatles and their music, it was great to see you dedicate your time and energy to recreating this music with such obvious love. I do not push it, but I am trying to pass on the appreciation of there music to my two boys. This performance has helped in my little campaign. All power to your elbows guys, as Ringo would say, Peace and Love. From a Brit fan.
@David Bell you took the words out of my mouth! Here a 75-year old sitting on a cold November morning in Chester, UK. It's six years later, hope you're keeping well and your boys enjoying the fabulous music we were privileged to witness. Very well done Saltwater Roses. I was moved to tears.
As a 71 year old “lefty” bassist, I loved the your bassist’s attention to the wonderful melodic lines of Mr. McCartney, while performing the most wonderful harmonies...very grateful, thank you...
Thanks Patrick , for your kind words> much appreciated. I've sent your note on to Tom, our bass player, as I know he will appreciate your feedback. All the best.
50 years later and were still waiting for someone to write music like this. The Mozart's of our time. There will be people playing their music hundreds of years from now, A sure bet.
Really nice cover. Sadly, that is all we are left with as far as the Beatles go: sincere imitation. I remember when they were really a group and we would anxiously await the next new Beatles album because they were each different. I was 13 when the Beatles came out and 21 when they broke up in 71. The background music of my maturing years that I'll never forget. So Bravo to these imitators. Keep the music alive.
So true, John. Getting together in someone's basement and listening over and over when each LP came out, because, just as you say, even then we could tell each was new and fresh in it's direction. Thanks for your kind words. All the best, Bob
'All we are left with'? They left a massive canon in their wake, mate! Very few bands of this quality last as long as they did. And if they do they practically never match their creative peak years. So pick up and rejoice in this wonderful music that endlessly fascinates us. And that you and I were so lucky to be alive as it broke into the world. ...just one other point: I do believe that their work will eventually come to be known as the peak of our human musical expression during it's time, I have a hard time drawing equations to classical composers. This is because classical composers wrote their stuff by themselves - not as a quartet (of quintet if George Martin is included). And they wrote for a fixed type of instrumentation - strings, brass, woods etc. The Beatles technical environment and its ability to create a near infinity of effects was not something the classics had no access to. Not that one is superior to the other - just different and should be noted.
I'm 70 and my rich friend next door had all the albums as fast as they came out. We spent a lot of time listening to the greatest music the world has ever seen. You guys present this music so wonderfully! I have an indelible memory of every lick coming off your strings, drums, and keyboards! It's precious! Thanks for all your efforts a million times!!
I don't know what I find more remarkable---that a group of twenty-somethings recorded one of the best albums ever committed to plastic, or that a group of sixty-somethings took it upon themselves to recreate the work of people forty years younger than they are now. Kudos, man.
Thanks, appreciate your kind remarks. It helps our aging brains to try to figure out and remember the changes in this remarkable work. All the best, Bob
These guys are amazing! And at the ages they look like, they are authentic fans of Beatles, since from the very beginning, at early sixty, which makes their performance unique, like no others!!!
I always get the sense that shows by Beatles cover bands are an experience enjoyed by the audience, of course, but also by the musicians. It's a treat hearing the songs, but also seeing those people lovingly play them. It's more of a joined celebration than watching a regular band would be.
I love that ending. Only The Beatles would end a song on that note, even though it was unintentional they could have changed it but chose to leave it in.
As Brian Wilson said. It seems impossible that four guys could meet, and become the greatest musical group ever. I'm paraphrasing, but ain't that the truth. It defies all laws of everything ! Synchronicity... They did it by themselves . Wrote, played, produced ( to a very large degree . Thank God George Martin was there to steer them in the right directions ) and sang it all. I applaud these men. I'm sure they appreciate ,the genius of these compositions . They're more than songs. Beatles music is like no other .
It is amazing. Four young guys from a provincial English city travel to London and meet a record producer and then make and produce the music that we know in a period of 7 years.
I feel sure as you do that without Martin they would have had anything polished enough to release!... having said that, from everything I have read McCartney was the main beatle that got things moving along in the sessions ... the rest were pretty undisciplined! McCartney was truly the leader as the years progressed!!!
And Brian Epstein. They were on point of giving up when he appeared. A stage-struck manager with no interest in ripping them off and was devoted to furthering careers. So many other groups and solo artistes were cheated
What a great perforlance, boys. Tears in my eyes, thank you for these emotions you brought. The Beatles should be very proud if you guys. Greetings from Belgium💟
That was absolutely unbelievable. Almost every intricacy down exactly like the original. Even doing Her Majesty! Well done folks, I can't commend you enough.
Hi, Thanks Cameran. Really appreciate your kind remarks. It was like nothing we had ever done before, trying to learn that and actually make it through without going off the rails. All the best
@@johnorabone6112 my favourite original Beatles song, come together, not influenced by any other music at all, or please me postman, or twist and shout, rock and roll music, Kansas City/Hey hey hey, words of love, mr moonlight, Anna (go to him), chains, boys, baby it’s you, a taste of honey, til there was you, roll over Beethoven, you really got a hold on me, devil in her heart, money (that’s what I want), long tall sally, slow down, matchbox, honey don’t, everybody’s trying to be my baby, bad boy, act naturally, dizzy miss Lizzy, or Maggie Mae. I will get my Dad to watch this tonight Mr Anderson. I recall he use to enjoy playing music with you many moons ago. Hanging out at my parents while my Mom is sick in hospital

Very good rendition guys. I can only imagine if all the Beatles were alive and got together, they probably wouldn't do much better. Thanks for the memories.
I'm always in awe of any musicians that take on the greatest piece of modern music that is the Abbey Road Medley. Great job guys. You had me applauding in many places. From McCartney's high bass frills, to the handclaps on 'Bathroom Window' to the cymbal swell intro of Sun King. Kudos to you all. Brilliant.
Thank you guys. Incredible. The Abbey Road medley is the best The Beatles ever did and, surely, will never be surpassed. Seeing you just made me want to play this with my friends.
Thank you boys. I am also a baby boomer and can listen to this medley all day enjoying every note. It sure brings back memories of my teenage years. The greatest medley of all time now and forever! Beatles for ever!
I'm concerned that there are 76 people that gave this band a thumbs down. They must be trolls, or have a tribute band that can't cut it. I watch these guys possibly once a year on You Tube. This is every Boomers dream ... Keep it coming guys ... Best from San Francisco.
I've often thought about the real Fabs doing this, their greatest piece of music (sorry, A Day In The Life). They could probably have pulled it off with Billy Preston doing the keys and George Martin conducting strings and horns. The main problem would have been John's tendency to forget stuff and Paul's guitar parts - they'd probably pull Eric Clapton to help out. Billy and Eric could both sing, so the stacked harmonies would have been doable. Another problem, demonstrated by the bands I've seen covering this, is the impossibility of this pristine and perfect music being reproduced live. A live performance., even by the Beatles themselves, would only diminish this great work. It's nice to see other bands cover it, but the charm here is the fact that they try to cover it at all.
This medley has always been a favorite. The obvious energy in Abbey Road is fantastic. They realized this was their final album. They wanted to end with their best. I've IMAGINEd that for 45+ years.
Fab Faux, absolutely the finest Beatle reproductionists...not a cover band, not a tribute band, just musicians capturing every nuance and tone ...Will Lee and Jimmy Vivino kill it every time...their concerts are stunning.
So heartwarming to see the love and wisdom condensed into this performance. A beautiful gift I’m truly grateful to have witnessed, from a Costa Rican fan.
This medley is for me the best piece of music the Beatles ever put together. Abbey Road was a very happy album and side two was about getting a few last songs down. Very difficult to replicate because of the changes in tempo and instruments. You guys nailed it.
Whenever we get to this part in the evening, we never really know if we're going to make it thru the medley. So much going on . Thanks for your kind remark. Appreciate it.
What a place internet. My dad (who is 69 years old) and me love the medley. I take a look around to watch it live durimg dinner time and i luckily found you. We’re amazed! Greetings from spain.
Inspiring. There was a magic moment from every one of you during that medley. As a keyboardist was particularly impressed with your keyboardist and his ability to recreate some of the sounds that took so much work originally. Golden Slumbers was so well done...always one of my favorites. Bravo!
I've been a bit obsessed with this album a tad much, especially the Long One bit and you guys did it so good! You guys also put your own spin to it plus the fact that you continuously perform it is just a feat in itself. Love from the Philippines!
Amazing performance, the effort that went into small details was very noticeable. I thought the 'Sun King' was particularly special but frankly it was all very, very enjoyable. Thank you so much.
Hi, I'm a Brit from across the pond ,what a GREAT rendition, one hell of a lot of practice I should imagine, what a great group of musicians having an amazing time.
Congratulations on perfection. Your performance is incredible, perfect interpretation of one of the masterpieces of world rock. For a moment, when I closed my eyes, I was transported to 1969 in the Abbey Road studios. Beatles for ever. Regards from Florianópolis, South of Brazil.
Thanks, Cristophe. It was a lot of fun to try to learn the parts. At that time , the "deconstructed" isolated tracks were up and were a god send. Now, we still find it hard, given all the "knob twisting" , patch, pedal, vocal FX,volume and timing changes as we try to work thru the 16 minutes. Always bugger something up. We're hoping it's beneficial for our aging brains.
It is not very often where I find that anyone does The Beatles justice and I must say that this is a very faithful rendition of this beautiful work of art. Thank you.
that's the closest i've heard yet to the real deal and i've heard many beatle bands in my day. i guess it's true that older is better when it comes to making music..
Pat Brennan Thanks, Pat. Appreciate your comment. We feel lucky ,as friends, to still have the time to hack away at learning and playing this music together. All the best
my band did the whole abbey road album once at a show. I was very impressed with these guys. great harmonies. I saw 9 people disliked this. those 9 people are definately asshole s. hahahaha

quite superb ....just finished reading Geoff Emerick's (audio engineer many Beatle albums) book ..must have taken you ages to perfect all those sounds and musical intricacies. Immaculate (and I never new Jeremy Corbyn played such good piano and guitar ..)
Maybe the greatest piece of music ever written, it will definitely pass the test of time. People will love it forever. You guys looked like you had a lot of fun doing your version of it.
Awesome show!!! So what if they are not the real Beatles. They played everything to a tee. It is amazing that their music inspired others to keep its freshness. Ringo did a great job. All of you guys are awesome. Thanks for posting this video.
You guys hit every note, riff and beat. My respects for you guys. It was fun to see and listen to how much work these guys (The Beatles) had to do to get the end result. Imitation is the best kind of complement. You guys are a bunch of talented individuals.
Hope you monitor this from time to time as I just found your performance! Gotta say I really enjoyed myself listening and watching as I'm 72, recovering from back surgery, and starting to play again after a five year absence. What a great inspiration...Thank you!!!
Hi, thanks for the well wishes. One of us is quite unwell for the last several months and it has curtailed our fun and ability to get out much. Again, however, thank you. All the best, Bob
I figured it was just mirrored. As a lefty, I always enjoyed the playing opposite of a righty as it looked cool when facing each other. this made my brain short circuit. that's really cool.
