I totally got it-- they are talking about doing smaller roles on a variety of projects, or, different combinations of roles on a variety of projects, both separately and together. Having their own empire.
Ok I don't know what the show is but since we're talking about stacking hats I guess that's what we might see regarding this show. Also Is this where "Yasss queen" came from? Had no idea. It just became a meme and I didn't know why and I just found myself saying it to my friends
Whaaat a weird interview. Lol. (Especially the final 20 seconds) Wish Trevor didn’t fixate on the damn hats for the sake of humor and instead actually attempted to further understand the metaphor and actually have a interesting interview. What a missed opportunity to have a truly in-depth conversation. Kind of annoying, oh well. Why am I talking to myself? Who even reads this??
improv actors (e.g. abbi and ilana) would disagree. "yes, and" is your only instinct. it's up to the audience to keep up. "no, yikes" makes for poor improv/audiences.
soth1 sol yes, but the complaint is not about the girls, they obviously kept up and took it where it needed to go, but I agree with the complaint about Trevor’s abilities. Lol! I never really watch him, but love the girls and I’d watch it again for them, but i don’t need to see Trevor interview anyone else again. Or at least steer clear of trying to be funny.
I mean I got it. You develop all these skills on one show (you wear a lot of hats) and then when you do a different project, you can JUST act or JUST edit and then grow in one realm (wear a lot of hats as just an actor or just an editor, etc). I don't know why it seems like he was confused...
he wasn't confused about the metaphorical meaning but about the image of actual hat stacking. if you take the stack and just turn it horizontal, you won't be able to stack a new row of hats on it.
@@hannam9140 Ooooooooohh. Right I just assumed they were laid out in stackable form, but you're right that a horizontal hat would fall over. You smart.
Did anyone else want the wearing hats deep dive to end way before it did? That was like watching a comic bomb on stage but way worse. I'd be pissed if I were them.
So they began with a web series of Broad City and I guess some seasons later got picked up by Comedy Central and now after 6 seasons are worth $3 million.😱
"I have a secret to tell you. I'm bisexual." "Are you? So then, you have experience _both_ being a woman in a relationship _and_ being in a relationship with a woman?" "Huh. Well, yes. I do." "You sound like a good source of advice. Do you mind, then, if I come to you for guidance from time to time?"
This is a hard one for me! I really really love this show and unlike other shows which NEEDED to end, I wanted spend a few more years with these ladies!
You know, there _is_ precedent for a hat serving as a metaphor in a program. Remember _Doc Hollywood?_ "It's like... It's like..." "Like a hat." "Yeah. Exactly. It's like a hat. Your _grandfather_ wore it, your _father_ wore it, and now you're stuck with it, but it just doesn't _fit_ anymore." "I hate a tight hat."
I only liked this video because I love these two and the show! But Trevor my love you definitely made things awkard with extending the hat bit. #cringeworthy
Okay what is the purple? A flap? Was it attached to the top? I saw purple in the back. What is she covering up? I’m looking at the top more than listening to them. Hahaha
I, have been watching your humaan comedy, your humorous entertainment, for a long time, and in a few more solar years, I will, shall, perhaps, possibly, surely, almost, conceivably, be ready to maybe, nearly, absorb, combine, integrate, assimilate into the human life. And then nobody, no one, not one person, none currently living or deceased, shall know I am not of the humanoid family. I shall, maybe, be indistinguishable, Not distinguishable, not capable of being perceived, from the humaaan form, that is so popular, this current millennium. Thank you. For shopping. At your local building containing food items. Have a predetermined increment of time that is pleasant. You may now return to your humaan Life. Have the fun of the ages. Yaaaaaryaaaas. Haaarhaaar. Heeeheeh.
Her "Skirt" reminded me of homeless people or .. street promoters somehow, in a weird way. And oh, this just proves that it's easy to sell woman anything.
