The absolutely best one I ever remember seeing was another couple. "Ma and Pa Kettle and the Landsman" He is trying to pay them for mineral rights royalties and they keep insisting that he is paying them too much and they explain it to him. 😂😂😂😂😂👍🏻

I was watching a Bob Hope movie "College Swing." 1938. A pretty good movie and it had a numbers gag just like this. There's also very young Betty Grable in sweaters!

Most people didn't know that Sidney Fields (the Landlord) wrote all the skits!!! He was the one who created this "math" equation. I believe he also wrote for the Jackie Gleason and Phil Silvers Shows. Dude was a comic genius...
