tbh even though Abby was harsh it was kinda good bc it made them work harder and they had perfect routines. Maddie, Mackenzie, and Melissa did not get hate for supporting Abby. They got hate for unfairly using her to get special privates and going against the group’s promises. They were Abby’s friends, and that’s okay, but they went against the team after strict agreements. Now that Abby has made them famous, they should be grateful and it makes me sick to my stomach that they wouldn’t reach out to their lifelong dance instructor.

Abby treated Maddie and especially Mackenzie horribly that last season. I think they were truly heartbroken over that treatment. I do have a little compassion for Abby but she needs to realise when you treat people like crap you can't expect them to be there for you. I'm sure Maddie and Mackenzie are very grateful for the opportunities but Abby's the one who ended that relationship with her own mean actions. Abby needs to take responsibility for what she had done. I hope she can come out of all this a better person and have a wonderful life. It's up to her now.

The reality is that yes without Dance Moms Sia probably wouldn’t have noticed Maddie, and the reality is ALSO that Abby emotionally abused those children. Peope may think that she didn’t abuse Maddie, but she was very manipulative of that girl, told her stuff that no 8 or 9 year old should have to hear, and put tons of pressure on her. It may not be as worse as Chloe or Paige, but either way, it’s emotional abuse and shouldn’t be shrugged aside because the TV show got her fame. You can be grateful for something and at the same time not like it. It’s called giving credit where it’s due. And the whole situation about not going to see Abby, if someone manipulated me, my relationship with my friends, my mother, and tried to make my sister feel inferior to me, I don’t care if they did get me fame, I’m not going to see them. I think those shots at JoJo was unnecessary.. just because shes made clothes for people doesn't mean anyone else cant.. and Jo Jo's style is unique and in your face. A lot of kids will love her clothes. She may even have a label one day and take over total creative control from her mum. I kind of get what Abby is saying, but at the same time the Ziegler’s NEVER said Abby has nothing to do with their careers. The show and Abby in a way was toxic for everyone. Maddie and Mackenzie are talented despite Abby, dance moms made them known. And the way that Abby treated them on their last day was absolutely disappointing and I could see why they were mad about it.

Yes I totally agree that the Zeiglers were ungrateful because Abby did help to get their name out their but then again the Zeiglers by playing their part and helped Abby to get their name out their also so did the other girls. Yes, I mean they may have done all of those things to you but they made us a stronger person because I rodeo I have trainers, coaches and everything like that I do twice of what the zieglers do from school to horses, cows to school sports to club sports and to traveling from one rodeo one day and getting home at 4 or 5 in the morning and getting 30 minutes of sleep then heading to class or going to another rodeo. If the zieglers did not want to do any of this they would have quit the first or second season but they stayed and kept going. I am now home schooled and I get an amount of 4 hours of sleep every day. I ride an amount of 7 to 10 horse everyday. I have practice from 3 to 6. I work out which is like 2 hours. I have a lot on my shoulders to and i am not rich like the zieglers I live in a little house on a big reservation. When summer comes around I am on the road all the time I rodeo full time from traveling to Canada, Texas then back to Arizona then back up north and staying their then Florida and California and all of that. It is a lot and I did have panic attacks sometimes because I was so stressed and tired and so on. I have had a lot of coaches but I mainly had one who pushed me to be better yes she was putting pressure and stressing me out but look at me now I'm 14 years old and I am living my dream I can multi-task a lot. But mainly I think they could have called to check on her and just say thank you and all of that because with out our coaches or anybody around us I garentee that we would not be where we are now I mean we might reach where we are now later in life but we learn. Everybody gets yelled at and stressed out and yes confidence issues is major thing(think of coming off a winning streak and hitting 3 barrels and having your good horse get set out for the most major rodeos and have to run your back up horse who is only 3 years old and have barely seen the arena with bright lights it is like spraining your ankle and sitting out for 3 weeks and you miss the biggest dance competitions and our coach throws the 2nd best dance or runner out their and they flunk and have a nervous and bad day.) I have it all the time but it does not stop me from doing anything because my coaches hae prepared me for days like these. I think if my coach was going to jail for what ever and she was like Abby I mean (I also think because they got the top of everything because they were favorites I think they should have called because like melissa said " their the face of the ALDC!") come on really if it is that way call and say something and show some support I mean I would have because I have gotten so far because of that coach(my coach not Abby) and 2 words could mean the whole world to her (thank you) its not that hard.
+Sierra Farland for 14 you are very wise and grownup for your age , but I did the same I was a comp dancer my coach was just like Abby ,they only push you to get the best out of you . now I'm a dance teacher and my daughter is a comp dancer she is 9 now and does the same you do ,home school and dance and comps that's her life she gets home at 10@nite and is up at 530to be ready for the tutor @ 630 til 9 then the rest of the day dance . it's stressful but you know what even my 9yr old said I would have called miss Abby just to say thank you and your in my thoughts and prayers. that would have meant so much to Abby because she would lay down and die for any of those kids exp.Maddie..

No, Maddie wouldn't be famous without the show. Neither would Abby. Many people who lived in their city didn't even know Abby existed. Did you know her before the show? ANd anyways, do you realise that Abby was mean to her friends and sister? And the amount of pressure Abby put on Maddie was too much. That 8-year-old kid would beat herself up over not winning, and when she forgot her dance, she was crying thinking Abby would hate her. That's really not healthy for such a young child.
I think it's quite ironic the people she focused on most and favouritised (Mackenzie and Maddie most of all) are the people who haven't bothered to reach out to her, despite her giving them the platform they have. The people she liked but didn't give as much attention to have shown their respect.
Maddie and Mackenzie are children. It's not their job to keep up with your legal battles and support you. It's there job to play and go to school. People already expect to much out of them, Abby needs to grow up and deal with her own problems.
That doesn't mean they can't show support privately. They could call, text, meet up, or email Abby. But according to Abby none of the Ziegler girls did. And Melissa. And it's confirmed true since Maddie and Mackenzie no longer talk about Abby, deny her and Maddie talks bad about Dance Moms. Exactly. And it's clear that Abby affected them in a negative way. If you look at one of the earlier episodes, Abby confronts Maddie after the sit out (or whatever it's called I can't remember) and Maddie is cracking her knuckles because she is so nervous and she makes Maddie cry out of guilt. That isn't healthy behavior.

Maddie does indirectly thank Abby in one of her interviews, she says that she's learned a lot of lessons from Abby, and had some fun times. That's not enough for the Ziglers to drop Abby. Abby sabotaged the other girl's careers in expense to push Maddie forward. Abby may have treated Mackenzie bad but she still pushed fo her music career. Abby gave zero support to Nia's music, and hindered Kendall's music for a long time. Melissa and her daughters have no excuse to be acting mad like Abby offended them. They are no associating themselves with Abby at all like she offended them. This never happened on Dance Moms, because Melissa was using Abby to get her girls careers. The FACT is that we don't know what happened between them, and we can't judge otherwise. Abby mentally abused maddie and kenzie, but mostly maddie. Some things she did, and the zieglers' only probably stayed bc melissa wanted her daughters to be big anf famous. We don't know what really happens behind the scenes of any TV show. The girls and their moms likely have contracts that keep them from contacting Abby without the permission of the producers, especially after her conviction of a felony. This might be part of a commonly used "morals clause". This is used to protect the show from any bad publicity created outside the studio by their performers. We can all stand to be less judgmental of celebrities who struggle through life just as we do. Money doesn't heal everything and public opinion can be hurtful, especially when not based on facts.
Abby had a very toxic relationship with Maddie also Abby treated Mackenzie horribly which I could understand why Maddie would want to see her that’s her sister plus the show and sia made Maddie in fact the girls really made Abby
Both Maddie and Mackenzie were mentally abused (along with the other girls) at the studio. Abby didn't make Maddie a star, Dance Moms did. If Maddie trained at any other studio she would be just a good now, probably even better. The circumstances made her a star, not Abby.
I think that some of the girls would never have become famous without Abby. There are so many talented children out there that it is very hard to rise to the top. Abby gave them that opportunity.
I'm looking at these comments and wondering why Abby gets any support at all?! During all her years on dance moms she has been unprofessional, belittling, and abusive and yet she still gets all of this love. I'm not usually the one to say negative things like this but she doesn't deserve any support at all! She made that mistake and she has to pay the price for it. I applaud Melissa for doing the right thing and finally getting her girls out of there, because that sort of environment is not ok for either of them. I'm happy the Zieglers are finally giving Abby the cold shoulder because she needs a kick in the ass and needs to see what she has been doing to these kids all of these years. Christophe Labady if they didn’t like it they could’ve quit. But they had to stay for six seasons before Maddie became well known and she told her mom she wanted to leave and Melissa agreed. Notice how in season 6 Melissa began to stand up for Kenzie. That was after the Sia vid blew up and Melissa realized she didn’t need Abby anymore. Kenzie didn’t even want to leave! I bet she wouldn’t ignore Abby if it weren’t for Maddie and Melissa’s decision

I don't mean to sound hateful to this account but it seems like a lot of the stories are speculative since the evidence provided doesn't tell us the whole story or outright confirm the claims (rumors). Not saying that this channel lies but I really don't see many hard facts, mostly assumptions or hints or implications. Another thing is that there seems to be some click bait stories, which I highly disapprove. For example, Maddie purchasing the animal skin bag; I'm sure that was an honest mistake. Still I must point out that had she thought through her purchase decision better, she would notice that 8000 something € is a ridiculous price for a handbag and that can only mean one thing: real animal skin. Listen, I am on Maddie's side, so Abby you expect them to reach out to you after you gave them the worse idk (however long they have been at the studio) No wonder Kenzie was so happy you were going to prison. You have NO RIGHT to be angry. Chloe stole the team because she KNEW you would go to jail. So you should thank her. Atleast they are continuing their career.The girls can have their moments, yes. but if I put my child with you, I would expect good choreography, MODESTY is a MAJOR ONE. I actually agree with Abby.The Zielgers didnt even reach out to her not even a text,or a call!Abby has done so much for them,without her they wont be able to have so many opportunities.Abby choreographed all of their dances,made costumes and many more and they didnt even say a thing
My Problem is that even when she was terrible to kenzie last season abby is still the one who made them! They wouldn't be werde they are without her. Especially Maddie . She never did anything to maddie but support her. I love the zieglers but they are cruel to abby

Be nice to people Ummm...since when did I give NO credit to her? Abby helped promote the girls, it doesn't mean she is entitled to the rest of their sucess. Abby was borderline abusive at times, and you seem blinded by that simply because she was the so called favourite. Abby put Maddie in insufferable tight situations, made her humilated and turned het against her own friends and mother. She taught Maddie that art should be arragont and fun. She was ruining her and telling her to be selfish and making her seem like the only one that cared about their wellbeing. The choreography was never Abby's, the show was never hers, and the girls had MANY other teachers throughout the day for contemparay, lyrical, ballet and jazz funk. Abby uses Maddie's sucess and degraded her at times, pressuarised her to the point that it became peer pressuarising and ruined some parts of Maddie's childhood. Just because you are favourited doesn't mean you aren't affected by toxicity. The zieglers' had a huge argument with abby too, where Abby said nasty things about those girls and threw mackenzie under the bus. She can be a bully, and hops on to her sucess. "without abby the show would be nothing" you just assumed that. Gia Martello choreographed, and trust me, if you compare that choreography to mather, club dance, MDP, the routines are low quality. Some of those girls weren't even at the normal standard of comeptitive dancing, the studio was rubbish and the home of mental mothers and crooked; negative mentor. They should be grateful that Abby promoted them. "Making them" is globalizing them, popularizing them which Abby never did. "she has been through so much" oh-and does that erase the fact that she isn't a good mentor, and has some mean traits sometimes? Clearlt not. The girls had to live through those toxic years of misery and exhaustion, mothers chatting about them. Abby wouldn't have all this Karma done to her if she had done nothing. Treat others the way you wish to be treated. I am a big believer of karma and everything happens for a reason, it all speaks for itself. The elites wouldn't have ditched her, Macksnzie wouldn't have blocked her, Maddie the FAVOURITE would be following her on social media, she wouldn't have been sued by the Hylands, she wouldn't have to go to jail, she wouldn't have Christi and Kelly throwing a party because of her misfortunes, Kalani and kendall wouldn't have said certain things, the students would show their respects, they would all do these things if Abby had decency. Abby obviously has clean sides to her that I thoroughly appreciate, but Karma never hits someone that hard if they were innocent.

YESSSSS. Abby spent all this time on Maddie and Mackenzie to bring them to where they are today (I mean, most they did themselves, but Abby was the one who made them famous in the first place), but now Abby has no one to rely on and they don't even drop in to talk to her or wish her well soon.
Enough with the "she should be grateful. Abby made her famous!" because thats BS. They became famous together because of the show. They were just lucky that Dance Moms was such a huge success otherwise none of them would be anywhere near to where they are now.

I don’t think Maddie and MacKenzie are being ungrateful...they went through a lot of stress throughout their childhood which is NOT a good thing. And I’m pretty sure they don’t stay in contact of LEGAL reasons. I watched a video about this subject on Dance Moms Uncovered if you want to watch it.
I don’t think Maddie or Kenzie (especially Kenzie) owe Abby something cuz you are only seeing what’s on cameras u don’t know how it is behind cameras maybe there is another reason why they don’t talk to each other, so let’s start with Maddie, Abby didn’t make Maddie a star, the show did, the producers of the show “dance moms”, Abby had favoritism towards Maddie (one of the reasons people think Maddie should be more grateful) but Maddie was never happy with the decisions Abby made, Maddie was always nervous and stressed and we can see that by the habit of biting her nails which she said she doesn’t to anymore which means she is not stresse anymore, Abby didn’t yell at Maddie as much as the other girls but that doesn’t mean she didn’t get abused mentally, Abby put her against her own friends and even SISTER trying to make other girls hate her and the moms fight, Abby always made her look like the perfect girl who never messes up and is always at the top which made her more stressed and want to keep her spot (a lot of you will say but that’s a good thing, but the truth is that it is not and I say this out of personal experience) everyone expect from you more and more that u don’t want to mess up and if you do it makes u depressed VERY depressed believe me. Maddie did not become a star cuz of Abby, Maddie is a unique talented dancer, her facial expressions are everything which is one of the things I love about her as a dancer, before I learnt to speak and read English I watched the show and she stood out to me. Now onto Kenzie, Kenzie was yelled, compared, made fun and was abused mentally, Abby always let her confidence Down and made her look like “maddies little sister” once she got out of dance moms she shined alone and gained confidence, compared to Maddie, Kenzie didn’t continue to dance the same style of dance, Kenzie learned other types of dance like salsa, hip hop (which Abby never gave her a opportunity and acknowledged even when she won) and was given opportunities to shine more, and since she was little by her own efforts she learned to sing (yes she did have a MV but was not anything big), singing made her also more confident and happy, and when she left dance moms she focused more on acting (which she had amazing roles) and singing and has grown a lot as an artist and Abby didn’t help her in any of these, she won the title Mackenzie Ziegler by her own effort NOT Abby. Now we also can see a closer bond between Maddie and Kenzie which I think is really strong cuz Abby couldn’t break it even when she tried to. Ahh and don’t forget that Sia contacted Maddie cuz of her talent not because “abbys show” REMEMBER “dance moms” is a tv show made by producers, Abby is just a teacher and owner of the agency. (And i do think the reason that the girls and Melissa don’t talk to her is cuz of some personal issues. A lot of you are gonna say that still they should be grateful and talk to her but imagine you meeting your trauma again and remember all your tears, sweat and pain, they can’t remember that they’ve known Abby for like ten years since Maddie was 4, she ruined their childhood and didn’t let them have memories)

Vamika singh actually I think u r the one wrong cuz she is only a teacher like others, the only difference she is known is because of the show and people make her a big deal, all dance teachers correct their students but not by humiliating, comparing and abusing them. And she isn’t the one who teaches all the movements and does the coreographies, it is the choreographer, Gianna.

Abby is absolutely right, no matter how good Maddie and kenzie are, no one outside the dance world would know who they are if they werent on abby's show. even because of Abby the dance world has become more popular. the Zeiglers owe everything to abby.

Well she does deserve credit...even through all bad she has done good for them. She made them better dancers and also gave them great memories not just bad ones.

I'm confused as to why Maddie and Mackenzie didn't reach out to her after Abby practically raising them I mean remember when they were leaving and Melissa, Maddie and Mackenzie were leaving and they said they were going to miss her everybody was so nice to them and yet after that they say absolutely nothing about Abby! I don't think Abby actually called Maddie "ungrateful" despite what the title implies, and that was never a direct quote from Abby in the video. I wouldn't believe any of this unless I actually heard the words come out of Abby's mouth. Any media source can make false rumors and claims about what she said behind the scenes, cause of course it just happened to not be recorded. (No hate about the video itself everyone has their opinions but that's just what I feel is happening)
There is a reason why nobody wants to deal with Abby Lee. If you watched the show she did make them great dancers and was a factor of making them stars. But she also tore them down in the process. As a coach she should of used a different mechanism that wouldn't tear the relationship of her cast and herself in the long run.

I agree with Abby 100%! Abby has given those kids all of her time and attention ( especially The Zieglers) and they can't even support her! Abby has invested her whole life into dance and those girls, and they are not even backing her up! Everyone makes mistakes ( including Abby) but we should forgive those mistakes
Um why do the girls have to give her support for going to JAIL and even though Abby made Maddie and Kenzie the show was really stressful for them and was edited to make them look bad give them a break

(this is just my opinion) honestly, who would want to reach out to someone who screamed at them everyday, and told them that they weren't good enough and that they weren't worth it?
If practically none of your students reaches out to you when you've got problems then what does it say about you? Because girls did this because of her treatment. To actually teach something you don't have to be abusive. Any psychologist will tell you that a good teacher doesn't have to torture his students to make them learn something. Also while you can learn from a teacher who was a terror for you, and you can be kind of grateful about it, you will never want to see this person again. And I can say that from my own experience.
