Abby Steiner already has arrows flying at her because i think she poses a great threat to the current titans of 100 200 and 4×400 meter races. Yes she is the American collegiate champion many times over. Shes tasted the world stage and tested those deep crazy waters. Yes she got destroyed but did anyone see any hint of dejection or defeat in her lovely brown eyes? No. She was just checking it and with that, I believe the fierce determination in her melted the uncertainty and doubt and became the fuel to the fire. Yes she is young and that is what will become the greatest catalyst on her way to winning the world and then on to Olympic glory. Abby, may the arrows that are being fired a you richochet off of the armor that is your awesome personality, your bravery and courage to keep moving into dangerous waters. Your left arm and your perfectly formed , very sexy legs will bring you victory and shock the world. I believe in you Abbey. Go get em beautiful girl!

Maybe if you attended a few happy hours the drinks would help you understand there are far more accomplished athletes in the sport she's participating in. Indoors she has a good record and has good chance to back up the hype. Outdoors she has a lot to prove in 200m and has not proven anything against top 200m Sherika and sherry ann and in shape Elaine Dina With her two indoor 400m runs speed endurance this year she has a great chance of becoming top 3 indoor 300m and as a 200m specialist She has the 2nd fastest 200m indoor of all time that as a collegiate athlete that alone is impressive ahead of great sprinters. marita Koch, Shauna ,irina, Alyson,heike,Gwen wow that is impressive she is built for the indoors expect Her to have sub 35.7 run at miilrose and nothing will surprise with her time !!
Does anyone understand that outdoor times are always better than indoors? There is a great year of track and field coming at you. Both Abby and Shakari are both youngsters, and strong "now"!! They are going to be even stronger next year, if their trainer can keep them healthy. It isnt easy getting stronger than you were last year, it means you gotta work even harder than the year before.
Dont know of all the accolades that are Abby, what I do know is what I gave seen. And his little phenom is just getting started. In her race against fraser-pryce Abby was right there. She is young, she is faster and this year she should improve on her times because its was her start that was suffering, its why she always seems to come up from behind. Mark this as true, she is training hard to improve that start and fraser- price better be training harder than ever before, cause there is a youngster thats coming for that "W". Best if luck to a fine athlete, snd pretty too. WHEW!

Why is changing sprinting forever?Because you say so? She has ,firstly, to brake the world record, then to drink more kilos of special "coctails" and if she wins 2-3 Olympiads then you can say,if we want to talk seriously, that she is changing sprinting....
I am not a hater of Abbie‘s but if she’s only running 50.59 and you’re saying the world record is in view it’s not going to happen you need 48 and 47 we are putting the cart before the horseless try and win a 200 meter race before you start giving away spots on the 4x400
Fred seriously 48 and 47 for the women? What is the current record? Also athletes male and female tend to start their season off slowly running a slower time and then gets faster as the season progresses. They also do not go as hard early in the season to avoid being tired and burnt out in the latter part of the season. I agree with you that the hype pertaining to Abby is very premature and ridiculous at this point.
@@jay_ferry5165 yes it’s a chase and yes I know that’s it’s at the beginning of the season and also it’s indoor so times are slower by at least a second if not more for same distance outdoor but I would like to see a 200 meter runner run that event and win we need sprinters in the 100 and 200 not the 4 x 400 we are good there I also know that she could be training up to get stronger for the 200 also if Athing and Sydney drop to the 400 it’s game over like I said before not hater just want 100 and 200 to be on top

I am a huge Abby Steiner fan, but this is not okay, I assure you, Abby’s goal is not to turn the track and field world upside down. She is doing her very best competing one event at a time to beat her own pb’s. This is the kind of hype makes people hate athletes. Stop it, you are doing it for clicks.
She has a ways to go I guess. What will forever undermine her career in terms of publicity and lane assignments is that she is CAUCASIAN. SHERICKA JACKSON of Jamaica is the woman to beat. She's only 25 year old. Yeah, I know another Black sprinter whose always the best. It is what it is. Please take note that whenever Abby Steiner and Shericka Jackson are in the same even, Abby Steiner will always be behind Shericka Jackson of a 200 and 400 meter event. Can anyone guess why that is going to be the case? ( The same thing occurred in the semi finals of the 200 meter event in Eugene this past spring when Steiner was assigned the lane to the left and behind Shelly Ann Fraser-pryce.
I'm all for good competition, but they are gassing up Steiner. If she beats the Jamaicans and a few other heavy hitters, I will be on board. Until then, people have to calm tf down.
She just finished last in Doha in the 100 meter. She is no factor in the 100 meter. S.Richardson won the race against a good field. Shericka Jackson was second Dina Asher Smith was third..... Elite talent on the World Stage. Abbey Steiner is no factor. The200 meter i guess we will see come the World Championship.... Shericka Jackson is still the favorite. Abbey for now just a lot of hype til proven otherwise...
Correction:. Abby does not have the 400m best time for an American at 50.59. The fastest time so far this year indoors goes to Rasidat Adeleke a Texas Longhorn who ran a 50.45 just a week ago. And what was with that beyond silly comment that Abby had the fastest time "inside"?!?! Nobody anywhere says that. It is either indoor or outdoor. Get your facts straight or stop posting on stuff that you don't know anything about!!

When the World Championships come around this summer she will run for Ireland, but until then she is competing in an American school!!
