Hawaii has always shared their Aloha spirit and shared their beautiful state to entertain us. We aren't Hawaiian or have the Maui spirit but we want to help make Maui strong again. We are the UNITED states of America. Please everyone give so they can rebuild. Tragic.
i am so sorry for all losses... i do believe that the souls who are lost will be cared for in the afterlife...i know you are grieving...i am grieving with you, know that they will be cared for in the ways that they have always been cared for...for generations. look to their spiritual teachings..find solace there. death is not the end ...
I'm so, so, sorry for everyone impacted by this disaster. We are grieving for the loss of life...how could all of this come about? We cannot bring back our losses, but we can prevent this from happening again. We need to speak with the victims, find out what could have been done to prevent this catastrophic scenario. From my understanding, several occurrences evolved, things we have NO control of...high winds, & dry conditions. Then no electricity or internet resulting in closing of schools & some establishments. Next fires started popping up, firemen desperately trying to get hold of the fires. They could not contain all of these blazes...and with strong winds and drought conditions, things got out of hand. I would estimate this to be in the afternoon. THIS IS THE TIME THE SIRENS SHOULD HAVE BEEN SOUNDED. At least to inform the public to be prepared to evacuate. With no electricity or internet, information of the fires were sketchy. Then a text stating that the fire in Lahaina was 100% contained. But it wasn't. There was too much uncertainty and false sense of control, until it was too late. The sirens should have been utilized to inform the public of the impending danger; being aware of what was happening, and informed of current scenarios before going to sleep. Our government officials stated that things happened so fast that there was no time to sound the alarm. But given the perspective of the events that occurred, do you believe this? Other things we do have control...regulating water usage and most of all...utilizing the EMERGENCY BROADCAST SYSTEM. Again, my deepest condolences to all that has lost so, so much.
Your a legend Matt love your electro culture work your on the button wide awake and putting people before profit I respect your efforts and actions 👊❤️
let hawaii do hawaii...if they think the god of water told 'em not to blow sirens and not to worry about Lahaina...ok with me. Chief Kawakaumihaila says no worries, thats cool. As a tourist......I'd avoid the weirdness going on in Maui
You should avoid the big island as well. The FBI needs to arrest the sheriff department leaders as they are in open rebellion and they aren't going to go down easy. They are involved in robbing Japanese who come for aloha and get robbed by deputies in plain clothes.
I love how all these people give their self pat on the back with all these people dead yeah you did a wonderful job it's just like cops they're never there to stop a crime that they're after the crime never preventing anything
So did the lady just say, efforts to evacuate the Maui survivors who are currently homeless? Evacuate them to where? They want to go back to their homes, in their neighborhoods, and to rebuild. They probably want to be in a hotel nearby. Paid for by the government since it was clearly there incompetence that made this tragedy much worse. They don't want to evacuate somewhere else. And I don't think their kids want to go to school and other districts either. The government is responding very strangely to this entire situation. A lot of people are noticing.
Hawaii has always entertained us by sharing their Aloha spirit and stunning state. Although we are not Hawaiian and lack the Maui spirit, we still want to contribute to the recovery of Maui. The United States of America is who we are. Please everyone give so they can rebuild. Tragic.
The devastation in Maui’s is beyond tragic! One of the most beautiful places in the world, and with one of the worst disasters! Very overwhelming, and sad, especially the massive loss.
