Bro fr. I spend the last few days learning the into/hook and I still can’t do it up to speed. The creativity to compose something like this is astounding
@@_stan Tim said "just wait till october 1st for the nylon guitar" during his latest stream. Guess we'll soon learn a thing or two about the imminent release
Well, wouldn't the wild part be that someone was able to compose this melody on guitar? Syncing up lyrics to a melody that's already produced sounds kool but that's definitely the easiest part of this song, not the wildest.
I like the switch to nylon strings. It’s a really cool sound. Tim cracks me up. A lot of guitarists add a lot of flare with their facial expressions and body especially when playing something complicated or even groovy. Tim is quite and let’s the music shine in the spot light and have its moment. You know when he is feeling it when you see his head and neck start moving. I know he is not showy because it’s all about the music but it’s nice seeing he is into it even if it’s just a little bit.
4 months later and this is still one of the most insane riffs I Have ever heard in my life. The more often I hear this, the more astonished I am. Thank you.
Bro Tim my guitar teacher introduced me to polyphia a few weeks ago and tbh I have not been able to stop listening to your music and as someone who plays guitar I want to try and base my style of guitar of of your way of playing because it just sounds so amazing and beautiful
Its amazing that a genius like Tim exists. He is so fucking humble and so fucking open with all the secrets of his music. He is the musician the music deserves and I'm 100% sure he is just doing music history right now.
I recently stumbled across this band as it was recommended on my Spotify (the art cover also caught my attention, purples and pinks are my fave colours). I vibed so hard with it. 💜
I'm so glad you played it slow... to remind me that I'll never be good enough at guitar to play a jam like this. Got yalls album 4 hoodie... still waiting for album 4!
Would really like to see a comprehensive break down on the approach to writing this album. I genuinely hope there’s lots of “making of” footage we’ll get to see in the future.
What's crazy is even if you learn how to play this and feel good knowing you can and, it's never as good the original source or musician who came up with it. That's humbling! Makes you admire their work that much more
