I drove an 18 wheeler for 3 decades and thank God never had to face off with a tornado. I saw a big one from a distance on Highway 40 in the Texas panhandle but it was scary looking. I am saying prayers for all the truckers out there. Keep the shiny side up my sisters and brothers ❤
I CAN imagine how terrifying it must have been for you! The only time I've ever seen a tornado IRL (F1, thank GOD) was on US 51 traveling toward Rockford, IL. There were truckers, cars, and villainous sundry SUVs (and me) stopped to watch it travel across the road and off toward Belvidere. (It dissipated before it got there, btw.)

Where do these people go on other trips to pack heat in their luggage? Who does the packing? In my family unit, we do prepacking a week or two ahead of the trip and always double check the luggage. Don't want to be stuck at the airport having to let go of too much weight.
Something is not right. Did someone plant them there to frame them? What’s going on? Unless they put them there to trapped them in the island. Could that be it?
Does anyone seem to think it strange that so many people had no idea they had ammo in their luggage? What are they doing at the airport, are they checking every piece of luggage? Why aren't they checking it when they come into the country? These people were all on their way home, someone could have slipped a couple of bullets into their luggage while they were out sightseeing. I just find it odd

But they didn't search them until they were leaving, about to not be a threat to them. They allowed them in, gave them time to spend their money and then they searched the bag when it was about to be put on a plane to come back home. Then arrested them, collected bail and are making them spend more money staying there waiting for their hearing. Ten bucks says they will all get a hefty fine and sent home. Question, does the gun permit say what type of gun they own 🤨

On certain days, I see this is a mixed blessing. My tax returns, being an at home person on disability that works everyday on my low income level neighborhood to stay away from addictions and work carefully at learning and expanding my homemaking skills. Drug test me and add 'home economist' so I can claim tax deductions. Some days I feel chewed up on both ends of the candles by politicians and megacorporations playing games with the economy down to basic survival daily needs. The other end of it wants my money to treat me with their version of escapism. Other days, am proud of learning a new frugal/off grid/survival skills. Been financially homeless before, and lived in different disaster prone area states that included off grid living includes two hurricanes and earthquake fault lines. Not a big deal for this granny. Other than struggling after a recent move nearly two years ago to restart my basic ER prepper pantry supplies and upgrade my rolling duffle ER Bugout bag. A bit larger budget will go a long way in my household. Fridge-freezer management I finally have down well. Plunger bucket laundry or my preferred twin tub. Have the cleaning and water conservation down well. Moving on towards after I year putting off, a food dehydrator and supplies like a food mandolin. Next month a non electric yogurt maker. Have other gadgets like a rice cooker that also steams(boils) eggs. My gas stove-oven not the greatest. Toaster convection oven. A few more items. Small electric appliances do help with energy efficiency and keeps costs down versus grocery store prices. My goals are to learn how to make both by electric and then off grid, like stove top bread. Lots of mental work. Even baking items have gone up in price. Savings still there. Just needs lots of prep mentally, financially and careful not over the budget. Tough going at times. Other times, pride for also overcoming my childhood PTSD fears of horrible memories a lot related to the kitchen area.

If it was an accident, he wouldn’t get convicted for anything. If it was a hit and run and if there were witnesses, then he will probably go to prison.

I can't imagine not fully checking my bags before I use them for vacation. Especially if I was going to another country. Do these people just grab the bag out of the closet and just start tossing stuff in knowing they will be searched? Also, what does it say for our TSA if four people now have went through these searches with ammo and it wasn't found? Sounds like our TSA is pointless, worthless, and just a waste of time.

The winds knocked down a lot of the towers and lines over a large area. It can't be fixed over night. 3 days of high winds, trees falling, rain, etc. is a disaster. I hope they can get federal aid and that everyone will be all right.

I have a question for everyone. The storm damage in Houston was mainly tree related. Downtown Houston did have a lot of windows blown out in tall buildings. Usually in tornados and strong winds roofs are blown off homes and there is a lot of damage to homes and etc. In this Houston storm though it was mainly involving trees and damage caused by trees. Why is this?
Too many trees in Houston? Maybe? Seriously though it was reported as straight line winds, so I'm assuming that the path taken was from west to east and the structures in the direct path didn't include many houses. I live in Houston and it got totally black dark at 6:00 but the area I live in didn't sustain any damage. Not even electricity lost and I live in an area where a sprinkle of rain will cause the street lights to stop working. Very strange indeed!!!
This is just my opinion, but this is very very suspicious to me. All of these people just so happen to have bullets in the suitcase. I believe it was placed there expertly placed there by airport staff. I’ve seen it happen in other countries. It’s called a bullet scam.
