1 week with no power and boiling water for longer in Augusta, GA. Our city came together, and thousands of line workers and tree removal experts from all over the country saved my city, and Georgia. I am so very thankful to these many silent heroes! Many thousands more of these brave people have been working 24/7 to help our neighbors Florida, North Carolina, and the Tennessee valley . I am disabled, but if I could go and help myself, I would! All I can do is donate funds to agencies such as the Red Cross and others out there helping our fellow citizens. I encourage everyone reading this to do the same! ❤

They're all leaving for holistic medicine or quitting. Those are the good ones. Yeah, the "business" of medicine in America after jacking the American people for even considering universal healthcare has been punitive. And we can measure the change in death rates and shortening lifespan. Ask your actuarial friends, or your friendly medical sociologists (funding is drying up for those guys). It is a brutal and incredibly inhumane system. Even from a supply & biz ops perspective, there's a whole lotta dumb going on. Nothing to regulate. Nothing to see here. Carry on.

If you run out of IV fluids at the hospital you have all of the equipment and sterile environment to make that basically salt water or infuse them with the stuff you need. In France they commonly practice rectal hydration. I realize that medications are generally administered this way but there are always alternative ways of doing that. They even used to use coconut water as IV fluid. Those old re-useable glass bottles might be looking pretty promising right now disposable world.
