ABELS | Winged Creatures | CYSO Symphony Orchestra with Demarre McGill & Anthony McGill | June 2018 

The young musicians of CYSO's Symphony Orchestra were joined by superstar soloists and CYSO alums Demarre McGill (Seattle Symphony) and Anthony McGill (New York Philharmonic) to perform the world premiere of Michael Abels' "Winged Creatures" at the League of American Orchestras' June 2018 conference. Led by CYSO Music Director Allen Tinkham, the piece was later featured on the McGills' critically-acclaimed 2019 album "Winged Creatures," released by Cedille Records.
