Aberdeen, the "Granite City', is the third largest city in Scotland and is located on the north-east coast. Local services are provided by both First Bus and Stagecoach, though Stagecoach operate the bus station and only their local services use it.
First Aberdeen provide most of the services within the city confines and uses a variety of different bus types. Mercedes-Benz Citaro bendi-buses and Enviro 500 tri-axles still make appearances on main city routes 1 and 2. The latter are on their way out, and previously operated in Glasgow. In fact, First Aberdeen operate a number of buses that previously worked in Glasgow. The Yutong Electrics started in Glasgow before coming to Aberdeen, and some buses in this video (such as the Enviro 400MMCs) still carry First Glasgow branding.
Stagecoach Bluebird also serve the city, but most of their services are to towns around Aberdeen. They also operate the service to Aberdeen Airport. Like First Bus, Stagecoach operate zero-emission buses but theirs are BYD Enviro 400EVs.
Stagecoach / Megabus and Flixbus operate long-distance services to and from Aberdeen.
