Most underrated and well behaved actor. I feel all the other biggies have purposely destroyed his career. But the way he carries himself and lives a contented life is commendable.
Abhishek is one of the best actors Bollywood has ever produced. He is such an underrated actor. Very underused and underestimated by comparing him to his legendary father eveytime.
Abhishek’s approach to the characters is brilliant. His aggression matched the tempo of the series! Needless to say AB has been awesome throughout! In a separate note, I liked ‘Drona’ as well! Was a good build up to a series!
Abhishek is truly an actor who knows how to express his thoughts on cinema and his work...very articulate and dignified...Here's wishing him the very best in life...
His performance in 'Guru' was amazing. I remember watching it in a theatre in chennai when i was 11.I knew he was a big star and the son of Mr. Amitabh bhachan. I still remember someone in the west declaring abishek and aishwarya are bigger than 'brangelina'. I started watching indian football because of chennaiyn FC which Mr. Abishek bought and helped win the title. I did not grow up watching hindi cinema so i was not very familiar with his work other than guru and raavan. But recently i watched his performance in Ludo. Theres a scene of him meeting his little daughter after a long time. The way Mr.Abishek looked at his daughter in that scene melted my heart. I went" Man, i want to see him in more films". I knew he was consistently making movies, but a role that really justified his talent was hard to come by. Wish he gets good solid characters to play.
It’s not often that a typical interview is a win-win experience for all parties involved. - This is a prime video promotional interview done right 👍🏻 Manoj Bajpai’s The Family Man doesnt get many shoutouts from stars/actors, despite being a top quality entertainer. - BR, with his well researched and tasteful questions, has extracted wise and sharp observations from the indulgent answers of Abhishek Bachchan👍🏻 - Only a secure person who has understood & embraced his place in the public domain well, can give generous compliments to co-actors where it’s due, and not have regrets. - To give a shout out to Saraswata Chatterjee’s Bob Biswas, Mani Ratnam’s ability to bring out the actor over the star, and the highly under-appreciated experience of Karan Johar’s Kabhie Alvida Na Kehana, made this interview worth the watch.👍🏻 - BR and SRK’s appreciation of ‘Drona’, and BR mentioning ‘Naach’ has gotten me interested to check out both
ABHISHEK BACHCHAN is a that kinds of actor that only people likes his movies who really knows about acting not action... He is not an action hero... He works in the movies which is acting movie... He has done great job in all his movies... AMAZING ACTING... Like YUVA...SURKAR...I WATCHED HIS TV SHOW THAT WAS AN AMAZING SHOW HIS ACTING WAS SUPER... I actually not after action movies I love to watch acting movies in that kinds of movies actor has to be show of how good talented actor you are and ABHISHEK BACHCHAN is one of them.... I love ABHISHEK BACHCHAN as an actor.. As a human being very humble loving respectful... He is always very nicely behave with paparazzi and fans never insulted anyone.... I wish you all the best ABHISHEK BACHCHAN.. Keep movies the way you are making all the time I love to watch your movies...
As always, I feel like so many opportunities were missed to probe deeper. When Abhi says he was "severely underprepared" when he first started, the natural follow-up question is "why?" I now have enough nostalgia for the early 2000's that I would like to know how Abhi felt upon entering the field, what he thought of the competition, why he chose to do the films he did, what the directors then wanted of him, and so on. Looking at some of those films and songs now, he was not that bad. We wanted Amitabh Bachchan redux and he was not that. For a younger generation who grew up on SRK or Hrithik, Abhi lacked the flamboyance of the former and the Greek god looks of the latter. It took a long time for everyone to adjust their expectations. And now here we are where the era of stars is on the wane and pure acting that is in service of the storytelling is what everyone wants to see. Now Abhi fits better. Still not the best actor around (he lacks the rooted background of a Pankaj Tripathi or a Jaideep Ahlawat), but preferable to being an awkward "star".
Having said that he had plenty of opportunities to work on his craft and seems like he didn't even wake up after doing yuva. He's just that actor who is focusing on chasing stardom, being hero and doing the action and dance and comedy and what not. Missed opportunities that BR didn't bring up despite being priveleged he's unprepared before coming to the industry.
No body and I mean no body brings out an interview the way Bhardwaj sir Abhishek is a good actor but Amitabh sir is still relevant and still creating benchmarks which is not easy to beat or match and he being his son will always be under comparison scrutiny
Dude I like Drona too, and all the songs! I recently saw it again and showed it to my niece and we loved it. But then I am a big AB fan! Please remake it or something.
I think Abhishek Bachchan's best release of 2008 was "Sarkar Raaj" directed by Ram Gopal Verma. Don't know why it got so late for him to get good roles. Always overshadowed by his father's image. For me his best roles were in Guru, Yuva, Sarkar Raaj and off recent Ludo (the scene where tries to grab 1 glimpse of his daughter) and Dasvi. I've not seen Breathe into the shadows or Refugee as yet.
I could listen to this man for hours, weeks, days...just a big time fanboy. Even watched Manmarziyaan and I don't like Anurag Kashyap or his movies. Boy, AB & Baddie! Please keep talking man...
One of the most intelligent, well behaved, secure actor of the industry. Unrealistic comparisons with his father was what got him trapped. Abhishek post COVID is something to watch out for because of his choices. I'm sure he will get applause for Ghumar! Waiting for it!
@@gvikram18 😵💫🤣 yeah really think about the film makers directors actors who are billionaires what will they do with this little money of a small Indian film .we Indians will be always the negative minded who doesn't feel good when others works are appreciated. And kindly watch the theatre response in usa of RRR people are not mad to enjoy in every scene by pure joy .
I sensed an irritation in BR at 10:00 when Abishek said "movie called Dhoom". It was wonderfully natural though and enjoyed.Appreciate BR for dispelling assumptions quickly. However there are 2 aspects to it. Abishek may have said assuming BRs audience may have folks from across country and across ages and some may not have discovered Dhoom. BR on the other hand did need to ask that as the channel is not just focussed on specific regions.
By his logic aishwarya doing a dhoom and umrao jaan is hard work. What did she do in dhoom as she herself stated in interviews that working on that movie was like going on a picnic and having fun. Didn't know that was hard work.
One should always strive to shock or win the audience with the 'performance' rather than a mere flash in the pan kinda thing! But unfortunately, one always wishes that my first film shd hit the bullseye, without accounting how much effort has gone into it!
Abhishek bachan is much eloquent person in compared amitabh bachan and aishwarya bachan. He is too smart to fail. I am sure he will rebound his career to top of hierachy in acting.
Mr. Bharadwaj, Abhishek has never in his interviews said or even hinted to not wanting to be compared to his father or be in his father's shadow. He has always stated he is proud to be his parent's son. You obviously hadn't watched any of his interviews. And those accent haters. When you have gone to school outside of India, your accent automatically is different. You are not trying to be fake. You talking like Apu from The Simpsons doesn't make you more Indian or less fake.
I don’t know why you have to love either one or the other I love the Amitabh Bachchan era Srk era and the tv series they make now. Honestly not a huge fan of a lot of the movies now because you can’t sit down and watch those with your parents or kids. Still love Abhishek b, akshay k, Srk, aamir and Varuns dhawan etc movies
So he said about criticism for commercial actors for their performances b.c its hard work doing the dancing vs realistic films where actors do it another way . Theres no such thing as commercial or realistic acting, its the story that's important and as a result character development. Of course lip syncing, dancing, actress being in cold temperatures wearing only saree is hard. But if filmmaker and actors have to focus on pleasing audience by being a hero or heroine and doing things just to entertain then of course that will be hard work. All that hard work has nothing to do with making a film good as it's just to entertain audience only.
What kinda question is that 😂Abhishek sharma 😂why would he do that lol he has done very good jobs being Abhishek Bachchan . That kinda question makes ppl sick
