I love this movie, I'm glad you enjoyed it! Kathryn Newton is in a movie called "Lisa Frankenstein" which would be good for spooky season but it it's a romance instead of a horror! I think it'd be really up your alley!!

Really fun reaction lol. Caught this one in theaters, had the auditorium all to myself, got to laugh out loud at it, and overall really dug it. If you haven't seen it, I much recommend another horror-dark comedy from the same two directors: 'Ready Or Not'. Very similar vibe and lots of fun.

Some related horror for you Becs - The Guest, with Dan Stevens Lisa Frankenstein, with Kathryn Newton Also try The Babysitter (with Samara Weaving) and The Babysitter: Killer Queen (with Jenna Ortega). They are wild horror comedies.

Someone else here recommended Ready or Not as another great horro comedy, and I second that! I also want to throw Megan, and Happy Death Day (the sequel of that one is really good too) in there, I love these! Tucker and Dale versus Evil is also very funny.

If you think that the kidnapping scene might be too hard on the child actress, don't watch Doctor Sleep...Not going to spoil anything, there is a scene where a child gets uh, hurt really badly, to put it mildly, and I heard that the adult actors had a really hard time getting through it because the kid did such a great job acting. After that, kid was completely fine.
