This movie is extremely intense and subtle at the same time. Every word, every exchange of glances, every touch, every memory… everything was perfectly designed to be put in this magnificent movie. Apart from the part where Tallie is killed by her jealous husband, this is an astonishing movie to watch and be amazed by it’s beauty and complexity.
Talking about the end, Tallie undoubtedly deserved better. Even though it was a difficult time to love someone from the same gender, they could’ve done something better… they could’ve done something to make them end up together. But, as we can’t change that ending… it’s our part to follow Tallie’s words: “It’s a good thing that we remember our imaginations can always be cultivated.”
Abigail and Tallie have all my heart, and they’ll never be forgotten. ❤️
