Sirens heard: Model 7T on top of City Hall: 0.452 mi SSW, 500-SHTT at Kennedy Elementary: 0.362 mi NNE, 2001-DC Roundback in between middle & high school: 0.466 mi NW, 2001-SRN by RR tracks near S E 3rd St. & S Olive St.: 0.858 mi SSE, 2001-130 at HS Baseball Field: 1.05 mi SW, 20V2T at N Monroe St. & NW 3rd St.: 1.53 mi SW
Other notes: Dropped one of my recorders behind a church near the center of Abilene on my way to the 500-SHTT at Kennedy Elementary. At first, you solely hear the Model 7T on top of the fire station doing attack for about 30 seconds. Then at the end of its cycle, all of the other sirens wind up. The 500 we all went to and two 2001's can clearly be heard. One of those 2001's is probably the Roundback, but I'm not too sure if the second one is the 130 or the SRN, so I decided to just include both in the sirens heard list. I believe the 20V2T can also be heard faintly at some points in the audio. The Model 2 and 500-SHTT by I-70 were not audible however. All photos used in this video are from Google Maps Street View, except for the undershot of the 500 at Kennedy ES which is mine.
