13:05 I guess the clipping thing also happens in film when you over or under expose the image, but it's not called saturation in color spaces. For example, in the HSV (Hue/Saturation/Value) color space the Value would be the intensity of the light. The value is a number between 0 and 255, and if you over-expose the sensor the value will get clipped at 255. If you under-expose the value will be clipped at 0. When you do this you will get white spots/areas on your image when over-exposing, and black spots/areas when under-exposing. Saturation in HSV is the "colorfulness" of the pixel , and it will never clip. (please correct me if I'm being an idiot) Source: I was at one point underqualified to teach a university course on computer vision, but they had me do it anyway lol (also according to the wiki on HSV it's a number between 0 and 1, but I think I remember it being 0-255 in certain software libraries, so it might not always be the same)

As this is for a tutorial series showing what you can do in Live 10 I'm presuming he's ensuring everyone can follow his instructions and get the same results. If he had non-Live VSTs installed in Live he may forget not to use them. Look through his videos and he's not a stranger to 3rd party plugins by any means. Just to say to @SadowickProduction this series has been really interesting and even though I have owned Live a while and know a lot of this stuff, just about every video in this series I've found two or three handy tips that have opened up new ideas. Thanks so much for doing this.

He is only using this for tutorial series, but I am pretty sure he uses a lot of other VSTs like Massive, Sylenth1 and Serum. Just illustrating point that you dont really need to buy bunch of expensive VSTs to create good music!
