Glad you found something in the tutorials :) You should never associate likes with self worth, though. Do what YOU love and if others like the content, great! Lots more coming soon.
Thanks! You can turn lots of things into a sound generator. Hardware modelled filters with high resonance amounts, EQs chains with harsh boosts, delays with feedback turned up to 100%, with a little sprinkle of noise....there's lots and it's really fun to use.
🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:00 🎛️ Transitions and Sweeps: The tutorial covers how to create transitions and sweeps to smoothly connect different musical ideas in electronic music production. 01:19 🎵 Sweeps and Filter Sweeps: The instructor demonstrates two methods for transitions-using noise sweeps and filter sweeps. Both techniques are commonly used in dance and electronic music. 09:30 🎚️ LFO for Filter Cutoff: The LFO (Low-Frequency Oscillator) can be used to modulate the filter cutoff, creating dynamic and evolving sweep effects in the sound. 15:39 🔊 Filter Self-Oscillation: By setting a filter to self-oscillate, it can generate sound like an oscillator, offering an alternative method for creating sweeps. 18:09 🔄 Combining Techniques: Combining noise sweeps and filter self-oscillation allows for even more creative and dynamic transitions in electronic music production. @@avigyavegashunyata1108 - Cool. Love Dublin. Shame the government is trying to sell it off to the highest bidder though. Not good for the anyone. Music scene included!
Not stupid at all. Simple to do when you know how though. Just hover around the automation line, then HOLD option / opt key (mac) or ALT (windows) and you should now see your pointer turning into a dual arrow. Once you see that just click and drag the line up or down depending on the curve you'd like. Hope that helps.
Okay. I have standard. Is it worth it to upgrade? Figure if I'm going to learn then I dont want walls thrown up at every turn because the version isn't enough.
@@Juliebird03 yeah, it’s well worth the upgrade if it’s something you’re gonna use for the foreseeable. If you’re a student, teacher etc, or know anyone who is, Ableton offer great educational discount!
