like always... Great contect... I love that you really focus on Ableton as what , many of us we don't see just in the ebox and we scam by many sales and buys of Plugings!!! Cheers from Berlin to Poland!!!
I’ll definitely make some videos on plugins as well but as my latest video about stock ones shows - there are not that many that can surprise me (to make a thumbnail with classic RU-vidr excited face 😂😂). Thanks for watching 🙏
Another way to chop the notes is with Option + E. It'll let you slice the selected note on a specific number so if you wanna, let's say, have a note sliced into 5 or 7 even notes this works wonders.
my favorite ableton feature is most probably the capture midi button. when i play on my midi keyboard to find a melody and i just played something i liked, i never have to play it again and having to try to recreate it and record it. just click the button and it loads everything up i just played. maybe i have to click in a note sometimes from the beginning which wasn't captured but that's no big deal. best feature if u are using a midi keyboard imo. (i only aactually use the record button if i sample something from spotify for example or if i resample from another track inside ableton). i'm still using 11 tho .. and i think i can't wait any longer to receive my preordered upgrade 😬 .. i might download the public beta today to try it out finally 😏
Damn right, MIDI capture is a lifesaver, or I should say LiveSaver 😂. Get the beta definitely, I’ve been working in 12 since a couple of months and it’s surprisingly far more stable than 11 (at least for me)
Good stuff, as always - thanks! One thing - Focus exists in Live 11 too. I have used it for awhile now, especially as I am creating chords or melodies around say, bass.
Once you hover your mouse over the note you want to change the velocity of, press Cmd (or alt if you on Windows) and drag your mouse up or down. The icon will change as well as the velocity
Converter alone is free, I even wrote what to do in description. My M4L folder is a complete mess so thats why I add some new devices to default template to test them out
