Nicely picked. Novel is a disk lock pro with a different profile plate. Abloy company is good at that. lol.

Patent extensiooooon. Yeah it's super lame, protec3 isn't looking impressive either judging by the patent

What strikes me first is how annoying key insertion is. Is it for protections against drilling? Does it work for that?

There's a spinner in front that's for drilling and in this case also some warding. If you mean the quarter turn before the lock actually turns then that's just a function of how disc detainer locks work

@@reinderstegen I was talking about the spinner in front. Btw. based on your videos and the lockpicking subreddit, which also referenced your videos, I got myself some ICS cylinders, and they are really nice. Not sure why EVVA is bullshitting so much with the 4KS. Could have been a good lock.

4ks is patent extension. Change just enough so that they get another 15 or so years out of it without changing anything about the fabrication process

@@reinderstegen Nothing wrong with patent extension, if there is some actual innovation. What is your opinion on sprung sliders vs. unsprung sliders?

Both are good. There's cases where unsprung works better and the same goes for sprung
