Aboard the Herbert C Jackson - Loading in Marquette as seen from outside our State Room 08.04.22 

Taken from aboard the Herbert C Jackson this is the ship being loaded in Marquette, Michigan August 4, 2022. We were taking on iron ore pellets from the LS&I Ore Dock to bring down to Detroit. I was aboard as a guest along with Roger LeLievre, Publisher of the Know Your Ships book (I do Great Lakes Shipping Photography as well as other involvement in the industry thus the invitation to go). We were aboard for a quick trip from Sault Ste Marie, Michigan boarding at the Soo Locks and went to Marquette and then back to Sault Ste Marie, Michigan again.
