People of nagaland should know that creation of district is not development but for administractive convenience only

I don't know what happened to our Naga govt. No Justice for ta victims family neither repeal AFSPA nor district to konyak people.... So discrimination to our konyak people...

ADDC should not speak so softly.. See Rio's district Kohima itself has been divided into 5 districts, Tsemenyu, Dimapur, Newland and Chumukedema including Kohima. If Kohima is divided into 5 districts then Mon district is fit to be divided into 6 districts.. He played trick to get bigger share of Development's funds only for themselves.. So his idea should be crushed by any means.

Nagaland CM is definitely lack of wisdom he doesn’t know the value of Nagas.

It doesn't mean that every demand should b fulfilled but I think Aboi sub division deserves to become a district n also Meluri town sub division (Pochury Tribes) must give frist priority for upgrading into district. It's not about Tribes or clans but only Naga Pochury tribes hv being left out,If a small Chumokidema town which is an EAC head quarter can b given Dist which is totally unfit n undeserving but u know y it happens, so Mr Rio must give Meluri to district for Pochury tribes .👍

Population size of Mon is humongous (2,50,260 as per 2011 census), third largest district in terms of population after Dimapur and Kohima and the largest populated rural district. But in terms of infrastructural development and citizen convenience, Mon District is lacking far behind from other districts. In order to bring all round development for the Konyak people, the only option is to carve a new district. Otherwise, Nagaland government will not be willing to spend huge amount of money in one district alone for development purpose. If the new district is created then there is a chance for those neglected areas to be developed as separate funds will be alloted for the two Konyak districts and ultimately, this will benefit the whole of Konyak tribe. So Konyaks should unite and stand with the people of Aboi. Why bandh only in Aboi sub-division? Every single area in Mon district should organize bandh. As the demand is for the welfare of the Konyak tribe as a whole.

No offence bt i think konyak union need to pressurized ur 9mla to approach CM to address ur needs besides all the protest in unison .

If District is to be created within Mon district, then Tobu is much more deserving than Aboi.....See Aboi is just 28 away Km from Mon, where as Tobu is 129.....So if our konyak people really concern about their tribe ....Then Tobu should be first created as district and later on Aboi....

To the point, mr convenor. Its frustrating indeed to see partial role played by cm and his cabinets. Yet another public suffering is that the bandh called and restriction on public movement,even restriction on going to field is suicidal idea. Its as worst as AFSPA and declaration of martial law. Public have done nothing wrong,they have only supported the demand but have to suffer till now its simply home arrest imposed by Aboi district demand committee.

Resignation of 3 MLAs will be best reply to govt. Ester Nagaland has capacity enough representative to elect NAGALAND- Cm. 19 MLAs must unit then next few malas will be willingly joint with you.

As far as I know MOKA is under Tobu sub-division not Aboi.

It doesn't matter whether it's Aboi, or other tribes, district should be created keeping in mind of the economic upliftment of the people of that area. The govt should create districts as many as needed for the people.

I think ADDC convenor didn't respond to question asked by media ...first and last question was very important question but didn't respond up to satisfaction..plz continue to stand 2gthr till it is fulfill ...we have our moral and prayer support for this demand bcoz civilization will come if developmental works continue,creation or upgradation of new district means developing the areas...etc.

Convenor ADDC spoke such a genuine & poignant factors pertaining to the district demand. Tseminyu,Noklak, Niuland & Chumu are carved out then why not Aboi District which is in far flung areas 👍

Konyaks have many population as well as many different dialects and so even though according to different dialects of different konyak villages in konyak areas if ask for tribes according to their dialects should be given when it can give and divided one tribe recently where everyone knew about it so why say no now to apoi when it was already approved by the cabinet and deprived of their rights for the division among tribes of one family has made and way of division is already made and the history of dividing is already existed and shall remain forever in Nagas history and will exist for generation after generation so why not approve and give what citizens of Nagas are asking for, give what every citizens of Nagas asking for and not to use partiality only with one tribe for your tactics have been out and exposed and no words or good deeds can erase the deeds committed wrongfully by your tongue and is seen by every citizens of nagas.so give even different dialects in different tribes when they ask for and for district and so on and so forth.👍👍👍🐍

Please convene a meeting amongst konyak tribe leaders and decide if you want two districts or backward quota because you will not be given both. If District is to be carved out from Mon district then it will be Tobu not aboi for the simple fact that Aboi will be inside Mon District(Mon egg white and Yoke Aboi) which will cause administration inconveniences.
