Wonderful video. Pls Doc, what is the relevance of Bedside clotting time done in abortions (especially missed abortion/IUFD). And if the blood is not clotting, what do you do? Thank you.
Remember one of the complications of Missed abortion/iufd is DIC and so before you begin to induce a patient or manage them surgically you want to ensure their blood can clot such that in an event they deliver they will not bleed out and if their is a prolonged clotting time you investigate them further and also order for FFP and platelets
