As usual, your choices blow me away. The music soothes my soul and makes my ears happy. Of course you had me hooked when you started with Grieg, my favorite composer. I would love to hear Arthur Sullivan’s The Lost Chord. It is beautiful and the back story of it is incredible! 👏

Thank you so much for your wonderful comment! I haven't heard Arthur Sullivan and The Lost Chord, so I just listened to the song with a male vocal and read about the song on Wikipedia. The song is very beautiful and divine, and it touched me deeply as I have learned the story behind it. Always amazing music Kim…………………….. beautiful………… I use to dance Grieg's when I was a child….. it brought back beautiful memories….. we have very similar tastes in classical music…………………… I can't image how there are two people who gave you the thumbs down… Ok, maybe they don't like classical music but then…. there are other channels…. Fur Elise, of course is a firm favourite but they all are!

It's wonderful to read your great comment, Francisca. I can imagine you as a young girl dancing to the music of Grieg, it's a lovely picture. As for the thumbs-downs, they don't bother me at all. I am well aware that I can't please everybody's musical taste. I'm happy as long as majority of viewers like my videos. Thank you for being here, I appreciate it!

Chopin 2nd concerto, 2nd movement. Chopin declared his love to a polish girl. That, in my opinion was the best piece! Similar to liberstraum because both are in A flat major, a romantic and velvet key! Beautiful video! Thank you😀

The arrangement of Debussy for 'cellos was particularly nice. I wonder if there are any pieces by female composers about men ! (I don't know how to check this). Have a very happy end to the week ! I have never heard Liszt piece you mentioned, so I just listened, and wow, I don't recall hearing any Liszt piece written for vocal before. It's really beautiful, I loved it! Thank you for introducing me to it.

thanks for your moving video (except for Debussy : he hated german composers, so I can t like Debussy !! :-)) ) Beethoven had so many sorrows because women.. ; he composed two sonatas for mandolin (amazing!) especially for a countess in Prag he loved ... but she married ; of course, he was in despair, one more time. me too, I m in the dephts of despair because you forget (again) Brahms and his deep love ( without hope..) for Clara Schumann ! ;-) he composed beautiful and moving pieces ( for instance, when he was very young, piano concerto N.1 ) for her, to express his deep feelings and his pain... she was very cruel with him all his life. Beethoven and Brahms were the most unlucky in love in History of Music !!
