As a Halsey fan I love that their makeup brand is A) doing well B) feels authentic to their style. It feels like they're going to be able to build something akin to Fenty or Rare Beauty, where the make-up can speak for itself instead of being solely bought because of the celebrity name/face attached (vs. Haus Labs, R.E.M., GXVE)

I don't have an Instagram account or a good memory from this past summer, but something I look forward to is doing my makeup without akathisia someday. It's more of a dream before I die. Right now I only manage to do my makeup once a month or even less than that, and the movement disorder makes the makeup application process a nightmare and the end result look clowny. I always take pictures after I do my makeup because it's such a rare occasion, and I end up deleting half of them for having the distress face I have due to akathisia. I love you Julia. Your channel helps me a lot. You help calm me down and that means the world to me so thank you. 💕

That look is so pretty. I love when you get creative with your eyes because you always look so stunning. 💚 These blushes stand out so much and there are so many pretty shades based. I loved the searching. They are sadly not exactly in my budget but hopefully I can try at least one of them at some point. This summer I loved going on a little boat trip for my birthday with my parents and I am looking forward to visiting Germany soon. I found you a few months ago and have been binging all your videos through the holidays and found so much good stuff to put in my wishlist. I wasn’t very into makeup before but this year I have been having so much fun thanks to you and Allie Glines, who inspire me most makeup wise so that’s also a good memory for me.

@cassiepoorman my favorite memory this year was going to Rehoboth beach with my family. It was my first family trip since my mom passed and I’m so glad we were still able to go as a family and have a good time. It wasn’t the same and never will be but it’s important we stay together and create more family memories.

Everlong105 One of my fav memory this summer has to be giving birth to my fifth son at home. I've never had a water birth before and him being the last one, I just had to go out with a bang lol. @emmafairlamb my favourite memory from this summer has to be the "hike" i did with my parents and my brother. we went for a little hike through the forest in b.c. which was so so beautiful and we ended up at a cutie little river full of rocks and mini waterfalls and old logs and we spent the evening swimming and exploring and picnicking. the weather was perfect for an impromptu swim too, it was such a hot hot day and the water was the perfect way to cool down. we stopped for ice cream on the way home and were treated to a magnificent sunset

This is such a fun give away idea ☺️ My favourite memory from this summer is visiting a tiny tiny out-of-the-way village in Portugal. Like all of portugal it was on a cliffside and at the bottom of the hill (right in the center of the village) there was this freezing cold but crystal clear river with a little beach. It seemed like everyone was at the beach and there was this older woman having fun in the water with her dog. Now I’m used to cold lakes and rivers in Canada but this water was COLD 😂😂 and this woman was trying to convince her dog to go « dive in » instead of just waddling the shallow end lmao She brought her dog in about 1 meter depth (it was a short dog) and he was forced to swim and he would just torpedo towards the shore but she sort of kept him around her by his leash 😂😂 there was no tugging involved she was just very gently playing with him and laughing her ass off, so he just had to circle around her. But for awhile there he was in TOTAL (cold water) PANIC lmao. Something we can relate to 😂😂 Anyway its such an uneventful memory but I really loved the bond between the dog and the woman. She didnt « torture » him too long with the cold water and she walked back with him to more shallow water after a good laugh 😂 the dog had already calmed down and started to swim less frantically once he got used to the cold. @michellemaki4 my favorite memory this summer is getting involved at a senior dog rescue in my city! We help foster and take care of doggies whose owners may have passed away, or dogs who were in bad situations and we bring them to local farmers markets and parks to help them get adopted!! There were 17 dogs there when I started in May and now there are 2- the rest have found new homes 🥹 it’s been the best! Thank you for your consistent content of not only amazing quality, but which also inspires artistry in myself and many others! @juliexchristie me and my boyfriend have been doing long distance for about 6 months now and I'm finally getting ready to move in with him out on the east cost of canada! But one of my favourite days of the summer this year was when he came to visit me and i had to get a filling and then he surprised me with a label maker (lame I know but I've always wanted one! when i got out and my mouth was half frozen and then we spent the afternoon painting pottery at a local studio. He painted a santa mug and painted a cat cookie jar. Then we ended the day with a nice dinner at a local restaurant. All in all just such a lovely day spending time together ❤
